Okay pho. I got a big piece of star anise in my pho which gave the rest of the soup an off flavor. Service was alright. Restaurant could use a quick clean - the self-serve sauces on the table were sticky and a little dirty. I don't think I would come back, although the stirfry dish I saw looked huge and appealing. Overall, not 'pho' me.
Grabbed chicken with Vermicelli and spring rolls on a whim because I didn't want chopped leaf my husband went there BEST I have had. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy, moist chicken, tasty sprung rolls. Only thing I will ask for is more fresh sprouts next time. Will for sure go back!
Update: I've dined in several times this year and I'm disappointed in the decline in their food portion and flavour. They increased their prices, which is completely understandable due to the inflation. However, the portion of noodles and meat are substantially smaller, the broth tastes watered down, and bun bo hue lacks flavor. I thought it was just one day, but the last two visits left me feeling unsatisfied. By far, my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Langley. The bbq grilled pork and chicken are moist and tender. Pho and bun bo hue is great for the cold weather and full of flavors and generous portions of meat. Staff are friendly, and the service is prompt. It's not as nice looking as its competitor nearby, but the food and the service is top notch. And the ventilation is poor inside, be prepared to smell like grilled food for the rest of the day!
Absolutely love it, I've been there for about ten times, I'm considering going there again today! The soup is amazing and it's one of the best pho in the area considering the price! The place is a little bit messy but it feels like family.
I've been here to this place many times for pho, and i must say that their pho is consistently good! Very friendly people, too. Very accomodating. Brought my 3 years old and my 8mos old in a stroller. The owner showed me where i can seat my kids without leaving the stroller outside. It was a good experience indeed.Food: 5/5
Family-run, your neighborhood pho joints that has more than decent quality noodles with reasonable prices. This is my go-to place when I have cravings for a bowl of pho in walnut grove.Food: 4/5
Absolutely delicious! The satay peanut butter broth is phenomenal!Food: 5/5
Didn't order pho, but I opted for #34 - Pork Brochette & Spring Rolls on Vermicelli. Great taste, especially on the pork. Crispy fresh julienned veggies. Nice clean place, decent service. I'll take this over the monopoly of chains nearby anyday.
I don’t know what was going on but I ordered veggie Pho no tofu. I opened my order and it’s beef and vegetables with NO noodles? And the soup is beef broth with 2 random meat balls? I won’t eat here again.
So tasty! Yuge portion and reasonably priced. I asked for spicy and it was I'd say for me medium. 8/10 will go again.
