I love pho. I've probably been eating pho since elementary and is one of the most eaten type of food in my life. With that being said, this place is great. Personally, their chili oil blends in very well with their broth. Their spicy broth is also my cup of tea. Within the city, i think its one of the best. The picture is their spicy broth house special i usually always get house special as a pho lover and a salad roll. One down? Side is that this place only takes cash and debit card but if you ask nicely, they might be able to take etransfer. Anyways here is my method of eating my pho enjoy~
Both the chicken dish and pho were delicious. Only issue - my spring roll was a little soggy but all in all everything was delicious.
Do your self and your vehicle a favor and don't use take-out from this place. Let the pictures speak thousand words... Ordered take-out from the place for the first time and my partner drove to the place to pick it up. In 3 min of driving, she realized that the whole soup in the pho started leaking. Though it was only 7 min ride from our home, she couldn't stop the whole pho exploding inside the car. It wasn't just a slight leak; the whole gigantic amount of soup came out of the package and penetrated into the car seat. No food film attached in the container! Here is a cherry on top: I called the restaurant and explained what happened from home. The owner replied: so how can I help you?? She said the problem had to do with the car and driving; when I asked her why did you not use food film or anything to protect leaking, she said she doesn't do that unless being reminded by the customer. No single apology. That just WOWed me. Please, never mind the money and time you spend; spare your car seat the trouble of cleaning up the mess and spare your spirit of the day.
Very good pho, but other dishes are disappointing. Chicken came out burnt, service was very slow, and every dish had a $1 surcharge due to covid. Some places give you a discount, but here they have decided to increase price.
Out of the way hole in the wall surprises with authentic flavours and unpretentious surroundings. The decor is reminiscent of an 80s diner and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that's where it came from. The food selection is decent but focused with enough options to satisfy most. Would highly recommend their pho, the soup is amazing.
What a delicious little hidden gem! Was at the vets and this place was right next door almost so gave it a try! Friendly staff and quick service! The deep fried wontons were delish even tho they weren't on the menu! They made them when my bf asked about them not in the photos but my boyfriend had the pho soup and he loved it as well!
Found a hair in my hu tieu noodles. I told them and they accommodated by taking it off the bill. The hu tieu noodles itself weren't that good but the pork party was very tasty. The server had poor English but was kind. Would recommend #30.
I eat pho at least once a week if not more. I was stoked to eat here based on the reviews. It was down right horrible. The meat was sick I had to take it all out. It was gummy, cheap steak. The service is next to none, I had to ask to order and waited over half an hour for a bowl of pho. They don't have the hot sauces on the table and the decor is old and dirty. Will not be back.
The classics pho are great. Staff members are well spirited you can hear a chef singing Vietnamese folk music in the kitchen Only Shaw open wifi Not so sure about more unique dishes. They only give you 3 steamed crepes order 33 but it's tasty, and few pho places serve it Bún cha cá was average - plain spicy soup. Awesome pho place but the Guildford pho tau bay I think is better.
Come here once awhile, I like their food for the originality. When you order noodle Soup, the side plate bean spouts and basil even comes with culantro herb which most restaurants dont offer. My favorite dish is no. 15 Spicy noodle Soup for its slice Vitnamese sausage but if you dont eat pork hock, just let the server know. Good portion, fair price. The only down fall is the place is a bit old and the seats in the boots are in need of repair.
