I wish I can give more than 5 stars! The staffs were so amazing and they would really give you an excellent customer service. We’ve got spicy rolls, rice dish, and banana crispy rolls. All of the foods we’ve ordered were so delicious and high quality foods. I would recommend dining in so you guys can meet these amazing staffs! This restaurant will be our go to place!! I ALSO LOVE THE INTERIOR OF THIS RESTAURANT!!! IT’S SO MESMERIZING.
Visited Pho Thi yesterday and it was a surprisingly great experience. We had a fantastic experience with the service and the food was amazing too. They have a great selection of drinks, a must visit in my opinion. Well worth the price!!
Alright people! I think I have found my go to, and close to home Thai restaurant. I must say, great and quick service, which is not very very common here. We ordered pho ga la chanh chicken with lime leaf medium size, they have 3 sizes which is like a soup and pad Thai. Both the dishes are amazing. Make sure you go empty stomach. It’s almost $20-$25 per person kind of a meal, and I would definitely recommend it. Especially barrhaven people! You must go.
This is quite literally the first review I’ve ever written in my life. I had to Write it in case other poor folk get the vermicelli dish. I ordered the vermicelli’s dish with grilled pork, grilled beef, and spring roll dish. It came with three extremely small pieces of pretty sure beef only and one piece of fat. The other half was pure lettuce and sprouts, so barely any noodles. I was still hungry after I ate it, and I spent 24 dollars on this. Don’t recommend this at all.
Let me tell you, I will never order from Pho Thi Fusion ever again. We support our local restaurants by either dining in or out at least 3 times a week. Since COVID, we have had the luxury of pulling our child out of daycare and channelling the funds that we would have normally spent back into our community by way of restaurants, activities for our child and many of the community activities. Which brings me to this review. We love pho and the bold flavors of a big bowl of soup. We've ordered from PTF in the past. Not disappointed but not a WOW factor. Its either PTF or Barrhaven Vietnamese Restaurant. We enjoy BVR very much. So, we placed our order at PTF, over the phone and was told it would take 30 minutes. I got to the restaurant at the expected time and let them know I was there. I waited an additional 5 minutes. 10 minutes had passed. Then 15 minutes. At that point, I inquired about my order. I was told that it wouldnt be much longer. At that point, I expressed my frustration and told the waitress that you told me it was 30 minutes when I placed the order. I told her that it was close to 50 minutes since I placed my order. She very rudely replied, "Look. You have to expect a delay. Do you see how busy we are?" She grabs the order receipt, looks at the time and says. You placed your order at 5:52. Were waiting on the spring rolls..." And she walks off. At that point, it was 46 minutes ago since I placed my order. I didnt get my order till 6:47 PM. This time it was the waiter who gave me the order. I wasnt pleased with the service I received from her nor was I happy with her "higher than though" attitude so, I vented to him. He just stood there and said nothing. No comment or reply to try and de-escalate the situation or provide a valid explanation, so I just left. Needless to say, I get home and everything is cold! My broth was at 98 deg. F Yes, I checked it out because it was that cold!, my egg noodles were so cold that they were sticking together and was nearly impossible to separate so I was left with a bunch of clumps of knotted egg noodles. My satay chicken skewers were even colder! The only thing that was salvagable was the spring rolls made fresh... and the bean sprouts. Utmost horrible service and equally terrible food. A pic of a knotted clump I manage to untangle from the chunk.
Got a beef soup and all my beef was fat trimmings. BTW I got the Flank and flank is supposed to have no fat on it Also got Chicken wrap but they were too lazy to even take it out of the plastic wrap meaning it just came straight out of the fridge and no one checked it Peanut sauce was definitely old as it was clumpy and tasted rank. -10/10 if I eat any of this I would definitely be sick.
Edit: See response from the restaurant. Thank you for responding Pho Thi. I figured it might be a spice in the container, but thank you for clarifying. I will ensure to call the next time I order. Ordered from Uber eats today - Hanoi pork, 2 order of rice wraps and the chicken satays. Food tastes very good. However, on the site, it actually asks you whether you want fish or peanut sauce for the rolls. I requested fish sauce, and received watery peanut sauce. I also requested extra peanut sauce for the satays, and received none called, and apparently the chef "splashed" some on the satays - see pics. The pork was very good, but it looked like there was dirt in the container could be a spice?. I would also point out that the restaurant did ask what they could do for me, but really all I wanted was to enjoy my lunch. I suggest you contact the restaurant after you order to make sure they have the correct items. I want to continue to support local, but this does make it difficult at times.
This place is great! One of the few places still open late dining room, 2 am! They really cover the East Asian fusion. Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese including good sushi. They have some authentic items and some Americanized ones. You can choose your spice level on many dishes. Silverware and chop sticks provided. Very accessible, including nice clean washroom. Great service, attentive and not pushy. Great bar selection too. The place is really clean and well maintained. I would say this is a great place to choose when people with different tastes and preferences want to dine together. Big portions, I brought some home for my dog. The owners seem to have really figured out the market they're in. Great job!! Oh, they do a really brisk delivery business, I saw UberEats orders getting picked up constantly.
I was skeptical to try the place due to some of the more harsh reviews, but my friends and I were pleasantly surprised by both food and service! The sushi was fresh and well rolled, the chicken satay skewers juicy and flavorful, and their Bun Bo Hue was authentic tasting with a fairly large portion as well. They have a bar which is an amazing addition to this already impressive Asian Fusion restaurant. Will definitely be coming back to their friendly service and tasty dishes :
Have done many take-outs before but forgot to post a review. Went to dine-in solo that evening as I had a craving for chicken pho and fresh shrimp rolls. And of course a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. The chicken pho was not the regular one that I usually get but a lime version from northern Vietnam: it was tasty but the lime was overpowering and the broth tasted a bit oily. Not a favourite. Usually I have the shrimp Tum Yoong Goon and it’s awesome. Overall the prices are a bit high but the service is great.
