Very disappointed. I ordered 5 pork chops, it was wrap in a foil. The chicken slices breast is the size of finger thinly slice and small they just put in a to go container . The presentation is so poor and tacky . Other Pho rest will put your order in a nice white container to go and add tomatoes and cucumber for nice presentation.
In my 18 years me and my family never had this bad of a oho experience anywhere in the GTA. I order medium and paid the same price as any where in the GTA for pickup. I've been to Pho Metro in Scarborough which is wonderful. I recently moved to Whitby and tried this place in Whitby thinking it's an extension of the Scarborough location. IT IS CLEARLY NOT. The house special had 1 beef ball split into two. 3 to tiny pieces of cooked beef and same with raw beef. The broth tasts horrible!!!. There's NO mint leaves, onions are like 5 very tiny pieces same with green onions. I felt SCAMMED What a horrible feeling on a Friday night just to look at what we ordered as a family diner and paid same as anywhere else. So disappointed. This is robbery!!! Stay away!!! We threw it and ordered pizza.
Really disappointed in the quality of the Pho beef P14! The broth tasted like hot water, no flavour what so ever, the noodles were chewy and had a weird after taste to them, and the beef...lets not start on the beef. Not only was the grilled beef low quality, but for a large they only provided 5 pieces. For a LARGE! We wanted to find a Pho place closer to home instead of always going to Lawrence and Warden...but by the looks of it...we will not be ordering from here again. For the first time eating Pho I lost my appetite after a couple bites. Worst money spent and didn't even get to eat something I was craving. This is by far the worst meal I have ever ordered in my life!
Was surprised to find authentic Vietnamese food in Whitby and was satisfied with the great prices, large portions and really fast service. I will be returning to try their pho since that’s what most people seemed to be ordering.
Great place to get Pho in Whitby. The spicy satay isn't as spicy as in other places. The broth is decent but compared to Scarborough pho places it's not as good but it's priced the same so...yea. Edit: it's been a while and I think this place is the best pho option in Whitby/Durham region. If you get the large take out pho, it is good for two people. The rice and noodle dishes are great too.
If you’re looking for some great pho soup and service, check this place out. The latest Vietnamese place to open in Whitby, it took me awhile to finally eat at this location. Took the family there as we were celebrating Mother’s Day and was looking for a place to eat for lunch. There’s ample parking and it was busy inside. We were able to get one of the last available tables. We were greeting promptly and the servers were pleasant. We ordered fried spring rolls as an appetizer, pho soups, pad thai for the kids and I order a rice plate. The spring rolls were crispy without feeling oily and the stuffing inside was flavourful without it being salty in my opinion. I appreciate that the veggies on the side of my rice dish were fresh and didn’t appear dry; my chicken and beef were cooked properly. But if you’re going to go to a Vietnamese restaurant, people should go for their pho soup, which is absolutely delicious. They have the best tasting broth against any other Durham Region pho place.. and I’ve been to them all. To top it off, their servers are attentive and friendly. They were nice enough to give the spring rolls for free to celebrate Mother’s Day. I’m looking forward to coming back here.
Quality of food has not changed even after COVID. This is my fav pho metro location. The shrimp fresh rolls are amazing it is large and stuffed. The Scarborough location sadly has very small/narrow spring rolls fresh and deep-fried. Disappointed, I had to go to this location hoping it would be different. It was. The rolls tasted so fresh and size is so much bigger than the other.
Really disappointed with the quality of Pho P1, the broth was plain, no flavor and the rare beef was literally white tasted like pork instead of beef. The food quality was much better than this few months ago. Hope you guys could improve more.
Went there for a third time after being very happy with the first two visits, but not so much two weeks ago. Service was slow and all over the place, my wife got her main before we got appetizers or soup, I sat there without anything watching her eat for 25 minutes. I finally got my pho and the picture says it all, big chunk of plastic in it as I discovered after eating it for 5 minutes. Talked to the owner and she apologized and said new people were in the kitchen. It seems to me when you have new people in your kitchen you need to be paying even more attention, she ultimately gave me 50 % off the bill where I think it should have been a n/c situation. Permanently turned off of this place, bummer.
Beyond excellent. Honestly i was kind of upset about the Curry brisket Pho which arrived with only 4 chunks and the curry broth look way to simple. But i cleaned the soup and finished every drop of the soup. Turn out the briskets are all sank to the bottle, good portion, very tasty. i also finished the soup of my wife's and kid orderd. Simply the best.
