Pho Excellent

Food is good. Funny thing is when we asked for an extra bowl, they hesitated to give us one. Every pho place we dined in, there was no issue if we asked for it. Each one of us ordered food plus appetizer. We are small eaters & we even didn't finished our food. Maybe some diners ordered food for one & share it?

Love the takeout I got from them! I ordered a grilled chicken pho, broth was flavourful, chicken tasted great and they gave a very good portion for a fair price! I’ll definitely recommend this place and come back myself another day!

True to its name, the food here is truly excellent. Had my first bowl of pho ever for takeout and been going there ever since to get pho, spring rolls, and most recently the seafood bowl. Been there most of the time with friends and we have always had a great experience. Always great portions for very reasonable prices. The pho is delicious, the broth is rich and filling, and the meat is great. I highly recommend the P01 for those who like the tripe and meatballs I sure do! Tried the spicy seafood bowl with shrimp, octopus, noodles, and other seafood and it was delicious. Big thank you to Danny and the rest of the staff for great service every time! :

My go-to spot for Pho. They separate the soup if you order takeout so food doesn’t get soggy. Great value and the food are always served very quickly.

Super rude. Practice be respectful to your customers that choose to come to your restaurant. There are a bunch of better Vietnamese restaurants in Hamilton, definitely won’t come to this place again. You won’t have repeat customers if you being rude. Also, no one wants to be treated in such disrespectful manner. The food doesn’t taste good either. Reply to the owner: You had a very reluctant attitude for giving the discount which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. You can totally reject the request instead of being super mad and rude.

Pho Excellent is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in town! The pho is so flavorful and the meat is always cooked to perfection. The bun bo hue is a must-try if you like spicy soup. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Our first time coming to this place, we order takeout and we dine in as well. Ordering is easy, we are party of four, we order 2 soups 1 to go , appetizer, and another dish. The soup was huge, XL we decided to share since we don't know how it's like, and perhaps if we like it we will order another, so we ask for extra bowl which every place they will provide you with no fuss, not here! ah ah. A guy came, and I believe he is the owner looking like and he said "we only give you 1 extra bowl otherwise we will not have profit, if you want more $1 dollar charge per bowl", he said it with an attitude and a bad tone; we look at each other and we said that's fine give us 3 more bowls we pay. The waiter came with 1 bowl with the same guy standing beside him; and we said, we ask for 3 more bowls. He came with a harsher tone, we have no choice but to cut him off and I said, we told you we will pay for extra bowls so you can make your profit! That makes him queit. The lesson for this review why I tried to elaborate, having a business is not all about profit, because the profit comes with great attitude, referal, good environment and of course good food and great service! Yes, this place has okay food, but I will never come back to give my business to him!

I always return here for their Pho Tai and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Their pho broth is clean and flavourful, and I've never enjoyed any Vietnamese Iced Coffee from other pho restaurants as much as this one. You will not regret spending your money here, food quality holds up with every item on the menu.

the owner was absolutely rude and horrid. they have the worst customer service. i went in and it was thunder storming outside and he told me i was unable to stand in his restaurant and kicked me out. it was 12 pm so it was definitely opened. i was waiting for my friend to eat there and called her and you said i couldn’t call and stand there. so don’t lie and say it wasn’t open because i have time stamps to prove it too. it is related to service because as you are to be treated well by the hostess.

The Pho Excellent restaurant serves up some of the best Vietnamese cuisine in town, and their pho is especially outstanding. The rich, savory broth and tender noodles make for a truly satisfying meal.
