I think this is my new favorite vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant!! Their bun Bo hue is on point and super delicious! The fresh rolls are also super good. I often find veg fresh rolls to be disappointing on restaurants but theirs was stuffed with mock meat and flavored well.
Been wanting to come here before the pandemic hitted. The lockdown just lengthened the whole thing from wanting to waiting. I knew we could have ordered takeout, but I can be a fastidious eater when it comes to noodle soup...taking out noodle soup just don't sound right, so I rather wait. Today we came here for the first time. We ordered the classic Phở Chay and Bún Huế Chay, totally worth the wait. Quite different from the two other phở chay restaurants we go to regularly, which is great and we love it, more variety! Soups were tasty, nice selection of mock meats, tofu and veggies. We particularly really like the choice of rice noodles they used. Instead of the typical thin and flat noodle, they were thin and square, they don't get soggy and soft as quickly, still nicely chewy and firm till the last bite! Same goes for their vermicelli in the Bún Huế Chay, they are nicely thick and al dente, basically a rice vermicelli version of spaghetti, firm to the bite till the very end. Forgot to mentioned, the beanspouts, basil, limes and chilis on the sides were fresh, nicely rinsed and clean, which we really appreciate it. We walked away feeling happy, totally satisfied and contented. Will definitely come back soon to try the other foods from their menu... can't wait!
Tasty food, almost completely vegan, friendly staff and very clean. The area it's in is a bit sketchy but the food makes up for it!! Once you're inside the restaurant it's very nice. My favourite is their Bun Hue soup. Spicy and full of delicious mock meats.
Simply delicious! The food is fresh and tasty. Good portions and price. This time we ordered two pho soups on spicy and the other one no. And as always we were delighted with the flavours. I highly recommend you to try the Spring rolls. They are made in the restaurant and no comparison with the Chinese spring rolls. For vegetarians and vegans this is a great place to dine in. June 2022 Update. The prices have changed, 3$ more each plate. It is written at the end of the menu, and they tell you when you will pay. So now it is a bit pricey. Still delicious!
I absolutely love it! Finally Jane and Finch has a place for me to eat that has an ample amount of vegan food ... The staff was very nice and let you know they don't serve meat.... the restaurant it's self is very clean and pretty ..... the Pho is heavenly, it definitely tastes like love ... I will definitely be going back! I want to try it all the food thank you so much for this wonderful gem to fed my inner peace see you again soon
Clean and friendly environment. Vegetarian soup base is tasty. Would recommend to try the vegetarian Tom-yum noodles soup. Surprising me that they also have smoothie options which are made from coconut milk instead of condensed milk. Will come back and try others.
Hard pressed to find a better bowl of Vegetarian Pho in the city. The endless leaf bowl warms the soul. Pho Hue is a must on a cold night. Family run ensures recipes passed down from generations.
Traffic is usually low here so good place for veggie if you’re in a hurry, also good for takeout.
Place wasn’t too crowded but service was slow. Food didn’t taste good especially the rice noodles and even though I specifically wrote that I didn’t want leeks in my order it still came with leeks and I had to pick it out... they also gave us the wrong order... never going back again
Really great tasting food every time we go. Whether you're vegetarian or not, you will enjoy it. Good prices too. Definitely recommend. My husband loves the pho especially. I really enjoy their fried rice too. Looking forward to trying their other dishes.
