Great selection of tofu and other small Vietnamese food and treats.
I've seen the sign up at this location for the last 6 months, they finally opened and I had to stop by and check it out. I love Vietnamese food, but have never tried this before, apparently they have another location in mississauga that has line ups at it that has been open for a long time. I tried the Pork Ham and Spring rolls, the owner was very friendly and offered me suggestions, samples, told me why it took so long to open and how they hoped I enjoyed the food. They were all super friendly and accommodating, sensing I had never eaten this food before ... I found it was a little salty for my taste, but I don't eat much salt, so it was probably perfect for most people ... the spring rolls were great a d perfectly cooked ... I hope to try more of their menu items in the upcoming future !!!
The lady service on the weekend is very smart. Today again, in as many occasions, she gives changes short....AGAIN!!! Is she the owner or part-owner? Cant wait to get rich? Customers should ask for the receipts and check everything before you leave as she will denies any wrong changes including short changes.
Same owner with Thanh Son Tofu in Mississauga. Great authentic Vietnamese Papaya salad party tray, Vietnamese raw sausage, fried pork ham, rice cake with pork meat and mushrooms inside, soybeans milk. Bonus 2 boxes of tofu flower dessert from the owner. Just a little pricy tho. Gỏi đu đủ, chả chiên, nem chua, sữa đậu nành, bành giò, bành dày kẹp chả.
Fresh home made Vietnamese food. Family own business. Cash Only.
This place has great Vietnamese traditional desserts, snacks, food, etc.. However, there is no price list, except for tofu, fried fish & pork sausages. The cash register is there, but the cashier mentally calculates your total with a calculator. You paid whatever she tells you. There is no receipt, she gets irritated when you ask for it. You may be paying more than you expected.
One of the best places that sell Vietnamese take out food. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. The only thing i dislike is the opening time, opens very late for Lunch.
This place has excellent Vietnamese food. I have done take out with them a couple of times but I have not been disappointed. Nice folks run the store.
Lots of good Vietnamese snack foods. The soymilk is really fresh. Fried tofu with wood ear mushrooms and vermicelli is yummy. The steamed rice sheets banh uot is also very good.
A great place for Vietnamese snacks and drinks. My favourite is the fried tofu and spring roll. If you like durian, try the frozen durian pastry
