Was greeted when I came in, the woman behind the counter answered a bunch of my questions about what all the pizzas were. I got the 2 pieces + free drink, after taxes, $10.00. The two pieces I picked was buffalo chicken, and another with pepperoni, sausage, spinach, onions, and tomatoes. They are HUGE! For scale, my hands are usually a whole ligament longer than other people's. They were absolutely great, going to try and come again before going home
We stopped here after a comedy show at the Varsity theater and had a perfect end to the night. There were numerous options for slices of pizza and it was reasonably priced. I got the BQ chicken slice and my wife got the Margarita slice, both great options. I will for sure stop back if I’m at a show or sporting event in Dinkytown.
Ok so I DoorDashed this as a chef it makes me proud to say this you killed it !!!! The food was hot when it arrived and this was my first time ever ordering from y’all! When I called just to make sure they put onions on the steak Philly I was told yup! Wasn’t sure but the guy on the phone was maybe feeling annoyed overwhelmed by my asking but even through that y’all get 5 stars cuz he handled it like a boss! The food was amazing like blew my mind fresh Cut jalapeños I swear everything was so solid that I as a chef am so proud and will return !! I highly recommend this place right here !
5 stars for taste...the pizza is smooth, soft, and delicious. The Philly cheese steak was pretty good. It's at the University of Minnesota campus...so has a fun college atmosphere. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking can be tricky and limited so pay attention to that...you may have to drive around for a bit and it's nearly all pay to park, whether it's ramp or street. This facility does not have a parking lot.
First time here and am impressed. 2 slices and a drink for $10 isnt free but in market. Has a Sicilian Tono corner of course and a pep sausage slice. Tono was a masterpiece of spice and sweet with a perfect crust. Standard slice was solid too. Nice pull to the crust with a light crew. Standard slice is a little light on the cheese and sauce. Cheese I prefer for this type of slice but sauce was very light which I do not prefer. Will be back for a cheesesteak next!
Ordered a Philly cheesesteak and they didn’t add cheese. Ordered French fries and paid for cheese sauce on side and they didn’t include it.. weird how you forget to add cheese to a CHEESESTEAK. I’m going to assume they have questionable people working here. Doordash refunded me, but still annoying because I wanted to enjoy my food. For the cost of this sandwich, they can afford to hire better people.
Got two slices of buffalo chicken pizza. They were big heckin’ slices and I could only eat like half of the second one. The buffalo sauce is unique and I’m not an epicurean or a culinaryist but I want to say that it has a hint of black olives? I dunno but it works and I want more. Highly recommended.
Had a slice of the Tono and Wild Buffalo. Have to say, I would prefer a slice here over Mesa. The sweetness of the Tono was unexpected but really effective to bring out the savory toppings. A superior choice in terms of near campus options. Love the late night hours and accessibility by foot from campus and transportation. Only one item on my wishlist would be a flashier crust, which is unflavored and a little dense in comparison to bites of the actual slice. Will be back to try more!
The food is okay. Truthfully, the quality of food depends on who is working. If ordering anything other than the slices they have out, the wait is a low point 10-15. I went 03/02/2023 for an order of seasoned fries and waited for 10 to 15 minutes. It seemed they are more focused on online orders than in-store. Packed until 3am every night it seems but good pizza by the slice free drink if you buy two slices and cheese steaks have all been good that I've tried. No complaints all around glad they are in my area. Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza so no vegan but if you eat cheese ur all good here. Kid-friendliness: Not so much late at night college town bar close not so kid friendly but all day for lunch it is I have never seen any problems just people getting slices and got tables outside when the weather's nice.
