We tried the Pharaoh's Plus combo tonight and it was delicious! All four sandwiches that we tried were great and the fries were amazing. We will be back!
I ordered the chicken combo with a side of fries. The fries were really mediocre and lacking in flavour. The chicken sandwiches were tasty and def hit the spot for a light lunch. They're really small sandwiches that's why the single combo comes with two. The flavours are akin to a chicken shawarma so that's sort of what to expect. Overall pretty tasty and I can see myself coming back here to try the other menu items.
The food was so good. The meat Kababs was so well done and the spices were perfect. This is absolutely a perfect example of best price for best food
Finally some amazing chicken on rice/the rocks downtown! Pharoahs specializes in Egyptian street sandwiches, which are delicious, but my go to here is the chicken on rice. Their chicken is seasoned nicely and goes well with the garlic sauce, tahini, hot sauce, and rice. You can tell the food quality here is definitely a step above most other shawarma style restaurants, and a couple degrees better than the ones that serve chicken on the rocks. Portions are good, reasonably priced, and they've been very consistent. Service is also very friendly and accomodating! Hopefully they get a brick and motor location soon so I can still order throughout the winter!
Amazing Egyptian food! Tried all the sandwiches so far and they're all delicious. I especially love the zalabia dessert... SO GOOD!!! Vegetarian options: Falafel, fries, and zalabia are some of the veggie options
Loved this place and the lovely ladies who run this place. They are the nicest people. The sandwiches are slider size, so if you think this is a meal, you're wrong. You need more than one! The sauces are amazing and the bread too is delicious. My falafel balls were crunchy and the wonderful lady added some pickled veggies. Overall, a good experience and will return to try the dessert which looks like the Indian jalebi. I think it's called zalabia.
Usually, we are disappointed with food trucks. This one was different. Friendly staff prepared the food well and to perfection. We tried all of their sandwiches and determined the chicken sandwich and the falafel sandwich to be amazing! Packed with flavour and not fry at all. The other two sandwiches we tried were on a drier side, but still very tasty. We also got some rice from the place and found it to be a bit plain. It might be interesting to add some vegetables in it or some fry fruit. Finally, the honey balls are to die for! I had 3 and wanted more. But they are very heavy, so not the healthiest option out there. Please try their hot sauce. It is very different from what you likely had before and packs a nice punch! We will be coming back again!
First time to Canada with my family and we stumbled on this food truck. Neither of us had eaten Egyptian food before and it was the best first experience. Everything we had Ferakh and Kebda sandwiches, fries, and Barbican was great. My husband keeps saying the liver was very tender. What I appreciated most was the kindness the owner showed us by helping us while we dealt with a fussy, hungry toddler. Great food and great people. We would definitely recommend and will be back during our next trip.

One of the best street food I tried ever... if not the best. Must try when you are at Toronto Downtown... Very kind people and excellent service.
