I trusted this salon with my dog, and he left injured. His toe got caught in the tub grate and he lost his entire toenail and nail bed. It was a painful injury that should not have happened.nnEven more concerning was how it was handled. Offering 10% off a future visit after causing that level of harm shows a lack of seriousness and accountability.nnI would urge management to review their equipment and safety procedures so this doesn’t happen to another pet.
June 30, 2024nBrody got his haircut for summer and boy does he look smart. The groomers are professional and knowledgeable. They told me what cut was best for him and that's exactly what I got. He's even decked out with a Canadian kerchief. He was happy when he got there and still the same when I picked him up, at least an hour earlier than they said. I definitely recommend their grooming services.nnJuly 1, 2023 Puppy training completed: I took Brody for puppy training and Kelly was fantastic. She made me and the puppy feel better about where we are and where we want to get. Definitely a much better puppy than when we started. I mean he never lost his cuteness, but now he's a little calmer and listens better and I know how to get his attention and keep it.nnI took Brody for his first grooming July 13, 2023. He had such a great experience and Hunter, the groomer, was wonderful with him and I loved her enthusiasm and care for my puppy.nnMarch 2023: I really liked Pet Smart. I needed a kennel and blanket for my brand new puppy. The staff were friendly and the store was clean and bright.
I am very very displeased with how we were treated today at per smart. My son has been wanting a hamster and we’ve been waiting as we don’t have a pet store in our town. So we came 1.5 hours to see what this store had for hamsters. We asked the lady if she could show us the hamsters as they were hiding. She looked at us and very rudely extremely rude and it was our first time talking to her “I don’t have time for that right now!” And kept doing what she was doing with fish. My son stood there crushed. We then were taken back and a little stunned at how terrible she said it, and we said that we wanted to buy my son one and wanted to see what they looked like so he could choose. And she kept arguing with us on how people just come to look at them, and the whole interaction was ridiculous, the way she spoke to customers is not right. All we asked was to see the animals we wanted to purchase. Her name was Alicia and it was around 4pm in case a boss sees this and wants to know who we tried waiting for another worker or manager but couldn’t see anyone to talk to. So we left empty handed with a heart broken little boy.
Nice people, always, but they don't know much about cat items. Any of them it seems.nnThey're well stocked and have always had my brands in.nnGood prices, slightly above petvalu though
Very weird and disappointing experience.The fish guy asks more questions about what you have going on for your tank than necessary. But, fine, you're passionate about fish. Did all the things, set up the tank and he literally won't sell people fish unless they feed their tank for 3-6 weeks or buy an old filter off market place. Went to another store in the Edmonton area that sell a large variety of just fish, they said what we've done is fine for a Beta fish as a 5 gallon tank is plenty big enough he said he wouldn't put any fish in anything that small. So PetSmart lost our money and I'm sure countless other customers.nnOnly 3 star because we've bought dog toys and other stuff there and it's been fine. Wouldn't recommend them for fish though, they don't want to sell them.
