Extremely disappointed with stock. Unless you do yarn crafts, cake decorating, or scrapbooking, don't bother. Virtually nothing for the lotion, salve, oil makers, don't carry essential oils, Extremely limited fragrance oils, no amber jars, no cosmetic jars. Only plus side is the incredibly helpful staff. They are wonderful. Everyone says shop local, and I do try, but it's difficult when no one carries supplies that I require
Deceptive marketing and terrible management.nThey were running a sale on a product but organized the display to mislead customers that it was the item that was paired with the sale sign. The entire display consisted of similar products . When we went to pay even the cashier went to the display rack, came back and said it was very odd because it should be ringing up with the sale as that is how even she read it. She called someone over who was older and very rude to her telling her no and to call a manager. The young cashier became visibly annoyed after being snapped at and called a manager over. Before the manager even made it around the til and let the cashier finish she began arguing with all of us stating she already had this conversation with someone today and she in her opinion clearly had it marked what was part of the sale and what was not. ….if you had this conversation once already and it’s happening again then no you clearly don’t have it marked what is and isn’t part of the sale.nShe refused to honour the sale or take any accountability for confusion even when her own employee agreed the marketing was very deceptive. We let our 2 year old pick one of the items after promising him both - the lack of compassion from all staff was a perfect lesson on how I never want my son to act so thank you!nThe cashier after being snapped and yelled at in front of customers and other employees became rude, snappy and difficult to talk too. I don’t agree we deserved this but I understand where her frustration was coming from - being treated like that everyday by older female staff definitely would get old fast!nI asked for names and she said they don’t usually give their names I’ve been to many Micheal’s where they mention their names for surveys but whatever.nComplaints against the manager are 100% on point, she is difficult to work with and single handedly the reason I will drive to the next city over before supporting our local Micheals.nI’d also caution any young adults from applying here after seeing how the older staff treat their younger coworkers.
Kathleen was very helpful!nnI went in today and there was a simple mix up with one my orders of acrylic paints. Upon seeing me in the store, three different employees instantly asked me if I needed any help. So great customer service all the way around. And we were able to get it sorted out. Kathleen also helped me look for another colour of paint that I was not able to find at first.nnFor what I was buying, fair prices and great customer service!nnDuring a different visit Helena, provided great customer service and Margo upheld a fair return policy.
Attended this location to have a picture framed. Framing associate, Heather, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable in this department. She was patient during the process and provided multiple options before a decision was made. Thank you Heather.
Five stars for the framing department helping me choose a mat and cutting it to size, it turned out perfectly
