My vet used this service when we asked for my sweet willows remains, they sent us exactly what we asked for and it's been both sad but a relief to have her home. Thank you to the people who did this job, I'm sure it's not easy. Photos of her urn and paw print and a photo of my sweet girl
We have paid well over $2000 in the last 6 weeks to the Animal Hospital of Cambridge only to have to put our dog Oreo down and have him placed into Gateways profiting hands. Oreo was our dog but Oreo was more importantly, our family. We are heart broken and our home feels like no longer a home without him here with us. We saw what Gateway had to offer as memorial "gifts" so we decided to go with Oreo's paw print on a stone idea. It costs $90 for this and we are more than happy to have this done as a memorial for our little boy. We also asked if we could have a simple paw print done on a piece of paper, nothing special just ink and paper as we would like to get a tattoo of Oreo done. We've been trying to do this with Oreo for the last few weeks but his cancer had been making that impossible as he could not stay still. So we asked for this along with the stone we were happily paying for, until they told us it would be $50.00 to dip Oreo's paw in ink and press it on a piece of paper. Nothing fancy, just his paw print on a $0.05 sheet of paper using $0.02 worth of ink. Our family is heart broken and these criminals want to charge SEVERAL HUNDRED times more than what this is worth to make our broken family happy? We are absolutely disgusted by Gateway Pet Memorial and these people not only don't care about the families dealing with grief of losing a member of their family but they don't care about the animals they are using to profit from. If you're dealing with an animal in your family like us that has a short amount of time left make sure you don't make the heartbreak any worse, stay away from Gateway.
I had lost my dog of 14 years 2 months ago and my vet used gateway to provide us with an urn and paw print. They had short formed my dogs name on the paw and urn when we specifically asked for her full name to be on it, of which gateway had been made aware and the vet clinic was aware. The urn and paw print both had her short form name. We had called to ask for replacements and they had told us no problem and that they were sorry. We then got the second replacement two days ago and now they have sent us a medium urn with her full name instead of a large urn. I had to contact them again to get a new large urn with her full name sent out to me. They have done my dog wrong twice now, they do not sound sympathetic at all, sounds like it happens a lot to them. I will no longer use that vet, or this memorial service. It’s been two months and we have not been able to rest her properly. They have messed with my family’s hearts and minds for far too long. At what point is enough? When have you hurt someone enough to the point you finally get the order right?
We had to assist in our fur baby's forever sleep 9 days ago. Samson was a small yorkshire terrier that we had for 11.5 years. He was our world and we are doing our best to cope with this loss. Today my husband picked up Samson's paw print. We opened the lovely wrapped box and cried together when we saw his little paw print. The clay paw print was perfectly embossed. I lost My Dog Of 14 yrs to cancer December 5th 2019 Mr Chance and I cant say how much the people at Pets Above helped and made my sad event a little easier , one of the owners i called and spoke to me and expressed his sorrow and expressed how he would take care of Chance as he was his own pet and not to worry which gave me a little comfort knowing he understood that Chance wasn't just a pet but more as one of our family members . Pets Above I would highly recommend if you need a service to treat your pet with respect and dignity when that sad day comes
During the pandemic, we lost both our senior dogs, 14 months apart. Gateway provided a beautiful resting place for both our dogs' ashes. When the Vet provided the shortened name of our second dog to Gateway, I contacted Gateway to have the full name on the nameplate. Within days, my Vet was in touch with the new replacement nameplate. Gateway Pet Memorial not only provides beautiful keepsakes but their customer service is exemplary.
Only pet lovers and people that truly care could do this job. To be exceptional in their professional attitude, super helpful, attentive and understanding is cherry on the top. We are super grateful for their services and all that they offer. As heart broken as we were if it wasn't for Dr. Goldie and Pets Above we honestly would be lost. Dr. Goldie was very nice, agreed to help after her reg works hrs as we were under the gun with small window of opportunity for my husband to be present as well and all was over before we knew it. She took very good care of our lil' Coco and charge of the situation we suddenly found ourselves in we had to make a decision on Sunday evening after we came home fr work and within 2 hrs Coco was gone. Only suggestion would be ask lots of Q.'s and make sure you understand the A.'s., as in turmoil of emotions that was surrounding us I wish I understood the process better, which would help in avoiding the guilt I felt for not saying or having a proper goodbye. Altho, in hindsight, no amount of time is ever enough to say a final goodbye. Thank you Dr. Goldie, thank you Pets Above
We would like to thank you for your special care and details provided to us for the loss of dear Westie Mr BeezleeFonthill It was very heart breaking having to lose our dear Beezlee..we decided to have him cremated and have his paw print which was the best decision we did…your special detail to everything was so thoughtful,beautiful in every way..from the urn with the gold heart with his name engraved,deep blue velvet bag and card …his paw print is perfect…we are happy that Mr Beezlee is home now and in a very special place in our home…your service is the best simply the best … Thanks from our hearts… David and Judith Drosky
Had my dog private cremated here. I was impressed with the facility very clean, and well organized. Although the place was busy, I was able to tour the facility and one of the owners Kyle? took the time to walk me through the entire cremation process and answer my many questions, which I appreciated. Thank you for everything.
I got my beloved dog cremated here just over a month ago. The ability to choose an urn and keepsakes at home instead of at our vet clinic was appreciated. When his ashes were returned, I was so impressed by the care in how well everything was presented as well as for the touching card included. His paw print is perfect and I'll cherish it and his urn forever.
