Petro-Canada

I have been purchasing the Petro Canada car wash season pass for a number of years now and previous years. I would use my physical pass to drive my wife's car and son's car to have it washed since washing my car everyday would be a bit much. This season I decided to have my wife and son download the Petro Canada app on their phone so that they can simply use the app to get the car wash themselves and make it more convenient for Susan me driving their cars for a wash. Little did I know this was against their terms and conditions and as a result they canceled my season car wash today with no refund and no recourse available. And we had purchased the 190-day pass with about 55 days remaining of car wash. Anyone out there who is sharing their car wash? Please take note of their terms and conditions as it seems rather ridiculous and unethical for them to take my money and not refund it back to me if they cancel my remaining days of car wash. Going forward myself, my family and my friends will no longer be doing any business with Petro Canada and I will do my best to make sure other people know how unethical this practice is.

Very unsafe experience at this Petro-Canada car wash. My vehicle suddenly stopped inside the wash while the rail wheels were still moving, and the car behind me almost hit my vehicle. I had to drive out of the car wash to avoid a collision.nnWhen I reported this dangerous situation to the gas station manager, instead of addressing the safety issue, he blamed me and claimed I did not put the car in Neutral, which is not true. He raised his voice and spoke to me as if I was at fault.nnA car wash malfunction combined with an aggressive and unprofessional response is unacceptable. Safety concerns should be taken seriously.

Today we went to get oil, and I suddenly had a sharp stomachache, so I went into the convenience store to ask if I could use the washroom. At that time, an Indian guy was making coffee, so I asked another lighter-skinned guy if I could use the washroom. He shook his head and said “sorry,” but the Indian guy immediately turned around and told me, “Yes, It’s right there, go ahead.” At the same time, an elderly gentleman at the counter waiting for coffee also told me I could use it. They practically saved me — I’m so grateful to them! I’m not sure why the lighter-skinned guy refused customers to use the washroom when it was clearly clean and unoccupied. If the owner sees my review, please also respond to my question. This happened on 13 August 2025 around 19.00pm.
