One of those places where locally owned means something. From the brand new remodel, the friendly staff, to the food they are proud of making. They have a reason to be proud too, their food is amazing! The Hawaiian pizza doesn't just have pineapple tossed on top. It tastes more like the pizza has been infused with a mellow pineapple sweetness. The Greek salad was fresh and delicious. The bread sticks are tiny soft sticks of deliciousness that are the perfect size for dipping. And all of the sauces we tried from there are exquisite. From the pizza to the sauces, they know how to season food to make the flavor pop!
We aren’t from the area and we went based on the reviews and we do not regret it! We were welcomed warmly given plenty of time and answers to our questions about the menu. Steve talked with us about the stores origin story and how it came to be. Very inspiring local providing quality food and service to the community! The food was amazing! We got a large pizza, garlic knots, and the pepperoni chips all 10/10! We played a few rounds of the arcade games and took in the beautiful renovations. This is the pizzeria you need to visit in Warren. I will be traveling back from Ann Arbor again. Can’t recommend enough!
This place is great! Got the garlic knots and a large square pizza, both were delicious. Ready super quickly, and both the employees were very friendly. They also have arcade games you can play for free!
First time customers and man they can make a pie. Just to give them a try we ordered a pepperoni n cheese and some cheese bread. Crust with a slight crisp but fluffy . The sauce has a slight sweet twang not to spicy. great cheese and old school pepperoni what more can you ask for. Everyone loved the cheese bread too. Besides great food. customer service was great also. So do yourself and your belly a favor and give these guys a try you won't be disappointed
We have always been in search of a better pizza..... Until now!! We were tired of our usual place and saw the reviews on Petey's Pizzeria and thought we'd give it a try. Absolutely no regrets!! Well, except for an overly full tummy! Lol. The owner Petey? was super friendly and told us everything was made with fresh ingredients and to be honest, I was a bit skeptical, thinking a lot a places say that. Let me tell you.... he was telling the truth. You can see AND taste the difference! Amazing!! We had a round, with double pepperoni and garlic knots. Hint: Don't skip those! Honestly I think this just might be the best pizza we've had outside of NYC! Even if Petey's is further than your normal pizza place, you won't regret driving the extra distance. Seriously, so worth it! And like us, you just might find your new normal pizza. Oh! And go a little early to pick it up or even go in and order there. They have some GREAT old-school video games to play while you wait and quarters to play with! Overall such a great experience!!
PHENOMENAL. Pictures do zero justice for the flavor so I’ll try to break it down. This is by far the best pizza I’ve had in quite some time, and that’s saying something having lived in Chicago and traveled across the country. We ordered the following: Garlic knots - fresh dough, fresh parsley, fresh ranch, fresh marinara. Just enough seasoning and flavor - perfect Italian sub 8” - the meat and cheese is boars head. That’s all I have to say on that front; absolutely delicious, the slices of meat and cheese were perfect - I also noticed PROSCIUTTO - amazing. Pizza - medium, round. We got pepperoni, bacon, extra cheese, green pepper, onion and black olive. Pepperoni - perfect. Not too greasy, but not too dry. Peppers were crisp and fresh. Cheese - again, boars head. Amazing.crust is on the thinner side, which I enjoy. I don’t want a mouthful of dough, I want a mouthful of flavor. PLEASE DONT CHANGE A THING. This is by far one of the best local pizza joints in the area.
Another satisfied Petey's Pizzeria customer! Today, I watched my friend inhale a pizzafrom Petey's Pizzeria in minutes. He said he doesn't want any other except from Petey's from now on. He was amazed at the super light texture of the crust and the flavorful fresh sauce and toppings. See, I speak the truth. So what are YOU waiting for? Petey's Pizzeria is open every day except Tuesday, that leaves six other days to get your pizza craving satisfied like my friend. My story ... I was in search of better and found it at Petey's Pizzeria. The voice on the phone was extremely polite and told me I was "gonna love it" and he was right. The pizza has a delicate crust that's more like a cloud than those weighed down versions you may be used to. The sauce, cheese and other toppings were a delicate balance of fresh and tangy and cheesy goodness. Petey's is so clean and new and fresh faced; it has the the charm of a friend's embrace that you lose yourself in because you're so happy to see them; you just feel you are home.
My 1st time having Peteys pizza, after a recommendation from a friend. Pizza was perfectly cooked & fresh veggies! We also got the garlic knots that were amazing! Place was super clean, employees were great! Also, who doesn't love free arcade games?! It kept the kids entertained & us as well lol Peteys is officially my new favorite place & I love supporting a family owned business! Will def be back soon! My dry cleaning next door was closed and I was having a very bad day. So I decided to get something and that place looks totally different since Salvatore’s. Steve, was really sweet and we had a nice conversation. They have arcade games which I thought this was very cool. Ordered a small round meat lovers well done. I literally did a taste test there with their famous ranch sauce. It was a special treat day for me. My mom and I talked about the pizza for two days that’s how delicious it was. Would like to try other things on the menu. Thanks Petey’s God Bless Only one con it’s just a little bit pricey for me.
Picked this place via the reviews. Don't get the bread, I would have been better off getting another pizza. Zero flavor and just bland. The pizza is ok! Nothing "wrong" to report. But for the price large pizza and bread $22. I would just stay with other places.
