Some of the friendliest staff at a pizza place I have ever seen. They gave me recommendations on what to get next time and we’re incredibly helpful. The pizza was pretty affordable and oh my gosh was it delicious. If we ever come back to Deer Lake we will definitely be getting Peter‘s pizza again for a lunch or dinner.
Food is terrible.. the fries are always mushy and often over cooked but still mushy.. the pizza is mid, not as good as the one in St John's. The only thing good from there is the wings. Also service is mid besides this one gentleman that works there. Also the staff don't get their tips because the owners take the tips for themselves.. so don't tip if you do go.
Newfoundland is known for friendly locals. This local pizzeria is no different.Wonderful staff...Happy to help you with your order and also suggest local attractions.nPizza was okay .Fresh and warm though.Ambience is good They have an attached video game room.
Dined in Last Weekend. We aren't from Deer Lake, so it's a treat to get Peter's Pizza when there or passing through. The wait time was longer than usual to be served. Everyone placed their order, we must of waited close to an hour for our food. Everyone got their orders besides my wife. Come to find out, the guy that took her order mustn't have punched hers in n she was left with no food. When asked where hers was, the waiter apologized and offered to make one then. She refused as she wouldn't want to make us wait another hour for food. We weren't expecting to be as long as we were as it was because we had to hit the road and didn't want to drive in the dark. Wasn't a Great Experience at All.
I always visit Peter’s when on the island and dropped in while on vacation. Food was similar to other locations but the quality varied wildly day to day, must be issues with keeping staff. I was also told from staff they preferred to be tipped cash because it was unknown when they’d see debit tips???. Feels like a standalone restaurant rather than the Peter’s I’m used to across the island.
