The best service I've ever received from a five-star restaurant.  My glass was refilled whenever it got low and the waiter was very congenial. They served a muse bouche with the menu and we watched a couple get married on the lawn. These are all hallmarks of good service. This place is great and we'll definitely be coming here again.  Reading these bad reviews, I just have to put in my 2 cents -- bad customers should expect bad service!

Beautiful location and amazing food! They were able to accommodate my friend with dietary restrictions as well. I recommend for celebrating any special occasion, although we girls had extra fun dressing up extra classy for the night! ;) Again, the food was fantastic!

I’ve been here a few times for different occasions and every time it’s a horrendous experience. The food always seems to comes out cold or warm, so you have to eat super quickly before it gets cold. I’ve had many different items from the menu and most of the time it’s tasteless and just a disappointing experience. Lastly, every single time I’ve been, either myself or whoever I’m with has had their food come out raw, we’ve even come to make a point of saying something yet nothing gets done about it... seems like no one really cares. For a place that is overpriced for the food they serve and menu selection, you’d at least hope for stellar service. Unfortunately Hart House cannot deliver these services to their customers on any levels since they’re customer service is horrible, food is tasteless, cold and raw and their prices are too much for what it really is.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our Hart House experience for the 3 course seating on Christmas Eve. Personable and attentive staff. A warm and elegant ambiance. Great selections for the holiday meal. I think that this will become a holiday tradition for us.

Hart House is a heritage site and a wonderful place to have a nice dinner. The food was excellent as was the service. The beef tenderloin was excellent. It was cooked souvide which made it tender and delitious. 
It is a bit more of a formal dining experience which is was nice for dinner. I would not hesitate to go again and I really enjoyed the warm fireplaces throughout the mansion.
