Peter's Pizzeria

I pre-ordered fish and chips and walked here on my lunch. The old lady was sweet but unfortunately the young guy was customer facing, who was aggressive and argumentative. I only wanted to pay so I could get back to work. The fish was pretty good for a pizza place and there was a generous portion of fries - so many that I couldn't comfortably eat them which would've been amazing had I ordered them from home. Go for the food but don't expect good service.

Pizza was not good at all. My friends and I agreed that there was a funky taste to the pizza and the probably frozen spaghetti - which was more of a soup than anything else. Also, wonderbread for garlic bread… really? VERY expensive for what the end result was. Would not recommend. Edit: and it was the heel of the bread lol

I once belonged to the general group of Haligonians that has walked past this place dozens of times without thinking twice. I'm not part of that group anymore, and you shouldn't be either. Just the best pair of folks behind the counter; honest, charming, and know how to make a damn good pizza. Bonus: gluten-free crust available. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free crust available! It is a frozen crust but it's unusually tasty and well-textured. Don't even get me started on the toppings--this is one of the tastiest GF pizzas I've had in a long time. They won't make fresh GF dough in-house because they're very aware of cross-contamination. I felt safe with these folks I have celiac and no sign of being glutened so far. Be aware they charge an extra $5 for the GF crust which covers the cost of the crust for them. It's worth it, IMO.

The pizza smelled good, but didn't taste very good. Crust wasn't fully cooked. Don't recommend eating here.Food: 1/5

First time have petes pizza, it was delicious and I love the menu. Next visit to Halifax, I know where to dine. Thank you.

Great location and atmosphere! We had 2 pizzas for a great price. Unfortunately the taste, quality wasn’t so good, not to mention I had a piece of metal staples in my meat lower pizza

I've had slices that were pretty decent but everything else I've ordered from them has honestly been kind of disappointing. Prefer other nearby options

Pushk is abrupt to the extent he makes me feel like I bother him when placing orders. He started a verbal altercation once, but later apologized. The pizza is excellent and well loaded. The best I've had in Halifax so far. Maybe comparable to Dominos, but Peter's pizzas are better loaded.

Lots of new places in town, but sometimes you need the old standby. Great pizza and quick service.
