Peter's Family Fare Restaurant

Terrible wait times and not the first time. There are waitresses there who serve those they know first and make you sit there all day, even if you were there first. Making people feel worthless when they are paying you for a service is no way to run a business. Will not be going back! *Update* Returned a year later for a family gathering, the old dysfunctional staff are gone and there's a new cook. Went a few other times after that, and wait times are much faster and checkups are actually a thing. Vast improvement in the quality of the food as well. Much friendlier service which makes all the difference. Moved from a 1 star rating to a four; Great work.

Food was pretty great for the price. The atmosphere was nice, I liked how they only have booths that fit 2 to 4 people. Peter's is supposedly famous for their pies, but sadly I wasn't able to get one. I got the reuben on rye from the sandwich menu with soup, which was cream of mushroom that day. Sandwich was very good, and with the soup the portion was perfect.

Good quality, fresh food. There are lots of options for side dishes, or choose none at all if you're not too hungry. Fresh bread and pies that are made in-store. The homemade soup was made specially delicious.

Love the breakfast! Large, fast, with a low price! Coming here since '94!
