Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

I love Perkins!- I like the atmosphere and the food. Had nice breakfast with my aunt this morning. Although our discussion was about her recent diagnosis of lymphoma cancer. We were blessed to be able to be together. I like to go to Perkins for coffee and pie and people watch.

Went on a Saturday morning and the place wasn't very crowded. That was a nice surprise. There is a quiet carpeted area that can be used for a small gathering. We were seated in that carpeted area with our 2 year old daughter. We had breakfast and our orders were accurately made. The food was yummy. That pineapple muffin was good and was a hit with our daughter. Good service and reasonable prices. Thanks.

Somehow Amanda found out it was my birthday yesterday. I explained I was full from breakfast. She asked if I would like it "to go". With a bit of hesitation I said, "Cherry please!" She returned with a clam decorated with Stars and Big ol' Happy Birthday on it. My family usually skips my birthday because it is so cold in the middle of January. I was overwhelmed and gave Amanda a big ol' "fakey PC hug" so as not to offend. I just had My Birthday Pie with my morning coffee and found a candle inside. I a hat and some confetti and had a nice lil celebration! Thanks, Perkins and Amanda! You're the Best! Could you send Amanda over to help cleanup the confetti? I made a bit of a mess :P

Good place to eat and great wait staff, but needs much improvement on your oatmeal . I have food alergies and this is pretty much all i can have on your menu so please plead please stop using instant😕.Thank you!
