People's Dry Cleaners

I noticed some bad reviews for this business, all from over four years ago. My family brings most of our items to People's Dry Cleaners, from dress shirts, dresses, sweaters to coats and baseball hats weird right? and we've never had a problem. The couple that runs the joint is always extremely friendly, fair and humble. They do great work, and I always find myself recommending this dry cleaner to friends in need.

I went to People’s Dry Cleaners to inquire about alterations to an article of clothing. They explained to me why the alteration I requested wouldn’t look good, and advised me not to do it. I really appreciated their honesty. They could have just gone ahead with it to make some money, but they didn’t. I will definitely come here for any of my dry cleaning needs in the future.

After my wedding dress sat in my cramped closet for months, it accumulated many stubborn wrinkles that needed to be steamed/pressed before the big day. Considering my request was both delicate and time-sensitive, I did considerable research beforehand, only to find that most dry cleaners in downtown Toronto have very mixed reviews... including People's Dry Cleaners. However, I decided in the case of the latter, they were primarily based on old management. I decided to take the risk. I was greeted by the owner's warm smile and immediately felt at ease. I brought my wedding dress in approximately two weeks before my wedding, and they finished the job in 2 days. My dress is now wrinkle-free! Impressed with the service, friendliness, and speed. Will return!

Great place. They do great work when repairing my clothes. Even if they are a little more expensive for repairs it is totally worth it. And they have never ruined anything I have asked to get dry cleaned. Very friendly. Highly recommend. As to the negative reviews, the ownership of this place changed about a year ago. I would say reviews older than a year are no longer applicable.
