One of the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I wish this place was in Ottawa so that I could go more often. The food was great I had the Nashville fried chicken egg Benedict and it was phenomenal. The home fries were also great and portion size was very generous left a few potatoes on the plate, which were eaten by friends before heading back to the kitchen. Unlimited coffee was also tasty and service was friendly even when it was busy! Parking: Lots of parking spaces.
Penny was in the back serving up some fantastic food! Started out life as a service station serving food back in the 60's, truck stop after that, and into its current form as a restaurant. The breakfast club was really good, along with the classic breakfast and eggs benedict florentine. Small seating area, but a quick turn-around had us waiting only a few minutes. Once again this business demonstrates how to succeed at doing everything right. Service, food and price are all on-point. So many great reasons to visit! I will be back for sure, you should consider a visit too!
Perfect! Stunning! Best and most creative fries i have ever had! Can't believe we could have such beautiful meals right on highway 7! They deserve Michelin 3 star!
We have only been twice edit: 5 times now! since we moved to the Perth area but I can't say enough great things about Penny's Place! The service is always top notch: fast and friendly- considering how busy the place can get. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes excellent! We will definitely be back again soon.Food: 5/5
First time in the area in many years seen some reviews and had to try it. First as a truck driver they have ample parking and allow over night parking for us. The food was very good and large portions. The staff was awesome and made sure we were well informed of their items I had the hipster benny which was excellent and also at our table someone had their smoked pastrami and said it was excellent Definitely worth the stop when we come to town
This small home style breakfast lunch dinner is awesome. Perfect for all ages. Service was amazing and all the ball.
My husband I just moved to the area over the summer and had been meaning to stop in for a while. We came for breakfast and it was phenominal, i'm pretty sure I skipped my way out the door when we were done I enjoyed it so much. I had the breakfast poutine and my husband had the Nashville benny. YES, you wait a little bit longer for your food. Was it worth it? YES! I will always wait longer for fresh food, made with care, over the fastest meal option fast usually means pre-made and/or deepfried. The breakfast poutine, with curds, bacon, onions, hollandaise and onions, and sunnyside up egg, somehow did not taste greasy at all the waitress told us everything is made to order on the grill, not deepfried. The Nashville benny had a generous sized piece of chicken, great bread, cheese, hollandaise and the homefries were great. Coffee was pretty decent and I loved that everything wasn't overly salty. All in all I will definitely be coming back. A note about seating: for me it is not abnormal/unheard of to wait until your whole group is there to be seated. The place isn't huge and its busy for a reason, its delicious and they're making everything to order seating half of your group to sit there and not order while they wait for the rest of their group, takes seating away from other hungry folks.

I ate here close to closing on a Saturday and they have brie with eggs benedict, enough said! They seat you fast, they are nice, and the restaurant is clean. The fact that they build the coffee and tea into the price is great. The hashbrowns are the best I have had in a long time. Go here! Your whole group will love it.
A great little place, absolutely bustling with locals and passers-through. Generous portions, good food all around, and the best fries I've had in a while. Friendly service. Heartily recommend!
