Work on the road, my home away from home is motels. Got done early one day and was calling around looking for a place. They were willing to be budget friendly for me, was off season and.they didn't have to, but they are such nice people that they did. So thank you Jerry, Terri, and Helen for a wonderful visit and amazing place to spend the rest of my day. Has a kitchenette (full size fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, dishes)and a spectacular view. The good Lord was looking out for me today. If I could, would give this mom and pop place 10 stars. Oh, Helen, loved the squirrels.

Great accommodations for ice fishing. Super friendly staff and very clean large rooms.

They charge an outrageous amount to go inside with your car and they didnt guarantee me a table or even a parking space. What kind of a wicked business pushes me an expensive entrance fee and tells me that Im on my own once inside that they "don't guarantee me anything"? And get this, their beach front area is literally only 120 ft long. Or 2 city buses parked together. I turned around with my family and headed to Wasaga Beach and paid only $7 parking fee for a kilometre of sandy beach.

From the time we checked until we left we were treated like old friends. The place has great accomodations for fishing or touring with family. Looking forward to going back and doing some ice fishing.

Not a great experience. Paid $135 to find no shampoo, dirty sheets with brown stains and hair and filthy wash cloth folded and put back in the holder. No apologies offered. No refund. No extended offer to return free of charge to try it again as possibly this was a "bad day" for them. Very disapointed as I absolutely loved the location. My son was with me and its a great location to just relax for a day or two. The owner had to clean all our sheets at 1130 pm because they were so dirty. No apologies, just blame towards cleaning staff. I only rated it a one. Maybe it has better days but my experience was that of one expected from a $50/ night motel. We didnt touch much after seeing the brownish dirty washcloth in the morning. We quickly rinsed off and left. If I could offer advice, Id say check the room thoroughly before handing over your credit card.
