Absolutely delicious. Everything we tried tasted great, and all of it together was a delicious meal. The food was hot, the wine was delightful, and we made room for the dessert. The service was warm, friendly, and exactly what you would look for in a family restaurant where you just feel welcome. Will enthusiastically go back.
The sunny patio, superbly friendly service and delightful array of traditional Greek cuisine Pegasus is famous for was made extra special with a visit by the owner to our table last night! Wonderful local restaurant which has recently been enhanced with a few new murals inside and out!
Really authentic Greek food, enjoyed eating inside aswell as it has a unique interior and kind service.
Such a cute place! Very nice staff super attentive and the food was great. Definitely going to order next time: dip platter, meat balls, cheese with fire don't know the greek names off the top of my head and chicken souvlaki.Food: 5/5
Absolutely delicious! We came on a whim and we were not disappointed. The lamb shank was to die for - melt in your mouth goodness. The kids had lamb souvlaki and never left a morsel. We ordered loads of hot and cold tapas dishes to share and everything was well beyond our expectations. We basically rolled out the door. The owner was extremely personable and came by every table to sit and chat. This is a hidden gem and we will be back.
Ordered grilled calamari and tyropita 3 cheese filo pastry for take out, just to add something different to our dinner. But oh they were soooooo good! I want to go back and get more of those cheese pastry, maybe keep some in my freezer too?
We ordered our food through Ubereats. The food was an hour late, but the worst part is not even that. Please see photos - food leaked everywhere, salad is missing, the food got here cold, the portion size is ridiculously small for the price, and it doesn't taste good at all after reheating. Needless to say, I am cooking instant noodles as I type out this review.
I ordered around $250 worth of food here for my moms birthday. However; after an hour and a half wait we got our order delivered only to find out it had been switched for a $15 order. We contacted the restaurant who gave us a 10% coupon. We thought we would give it another chance, but the same thing happened again.
This place is an old neighbourhood classic that has a deep customer base and is busy. Having said that you would expect more from the kitchen. We started with calamari that had been cut into pieces and not the classic loops. Wasn’t crunchy and they added some spice to the batter that did nothing and totally missed the mark on salt. You need to add salt right after the fryer and this was the biggest miss for me besides the flavourless tzatziki it came paired with. Next up I got my favourite Greek dish moussaka! The eggplant was cut so thick it had some crunch to it and a bad mouth feel I couldn’t get past which I feel was due to the thickness. My wife got the chicken Souvlaki and it came out dry paired w/ the flavourless tzatziki that again didn’t add any real interest to the dish. Having come from a Greek culinary background I was blown away from the lack of deep flavours including lemon and garlic I’m accustom to. This place misses the mark and feels like their being to conservative on ingredients while charging a premium price. Not a place I’d revisit.
Freezer burned meat, tasted past due, undercooked potatoes, pita bread was actually a pancake that was undercooked and super greasy. The entire meal was disgusting and the ingredients all to be very old and spoiled. But they got cooked up any way. It was really expensive and we could not eat any of it.
