It's pretty much a homeless camp at this point. If you try to go there on a random weekday during the day it's pretty much just homeless people sleeping in the grass and laying on the benches.
A place I've always gone since I was a kid. Lots of room to roam, close to Loring and lots of other stuff.
This place was seriously run down before the recent restoration. Now it's back and better than ever!
Lots of water fountains. Sounds pretty
Peavy Plaza has turned into the unofficial skateboard park in downtown Minneapolis. The w/soothing sounds of flowing water have been replaced by the relentless ‘slamming’ of skateboards. When are the fountains & falls returning??? No one knows.
I’ve come a few times after or before work. It’s a little gem inside Minneapolis. A relaxing place to sit and read a book or enjoy the sun and skyline. The fountains are beautiful. The park is well maintained and clean. It’s located right near a bus stop too.
Very relaxing place to sit and listen to waterfalls.
So great to have music back and enjoy the sounds and sights of downtown
