Selection is good and cashier is nice but they make you feel like a criminal the entire time you look through the liquor section it's not very welcoming
I like these guys. In a high theft area, they are definitely vigilant. That being said, the fellas are super nice, i have great banter with them. Best of luck!
Love the store. However once I went in without my ID to buy a freezer pizza Because it's also a convenience store? and as it was right down the street from my house, and I needed some dinner. I was denied food because I didn't have an ID on me. I was not buying alcohol, or a mixer, or anything that could be related to alcohol, JUST A FROZEN PIZZA, and even though I am over 21, and very obviously so, I was denied trying to purchase food because I didn't have an ID on my person, just cash.
Starting off with the good; they have a good selection & the cashier was super nice & so friendly.nAs for the bad:nI didn’t really appreciate being stared at the entire time I was in the Spirits section with my partner by a bald tan man, who I presume works there. We had no bags & no means to steal anything, but I can give a little empathy given the area. But we were the only two hispanic people in there, and I don’t wanna be THAT person, but read the room. Especially since there were 100% other people in the store and he didn’t choose to stare down any of them the way he watched us.nAnd by staring at us, I don’t mean side eyeing us from a clear line of sight from the cash register like a normal person does. He stood at the entrance of the spirit section, folded his arms and stood there watching us. I even stayed an extra few minutes to see if it was a flop and if he’d just walked away, but he kept standing there. When we started coming out he walked away, pretended to do something at the cash register, then walked off into the aisles. I don’t know why it felt so pointed and gave me such an ick but i’m gonna trust my instincts here and say that he was being very weird.nHe could have been more lowkey about it; I wouldn’t have even perceived him if he wasn’t staring directly at us. Made me super uncomfy. Probably will not come back.
