An Elegant upscale dim sum and Chinese formal dinner experience in Oakville. The restaurant is stunningly renovated with high ceilings. The sensation as you enter is opulent and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is courteous and attentive. There is a price tag that goes with this level of service and elegance but I feel there is good value for the money especially if bringing an important client or celebrating a special event with friends and family.

The first dine-in in Oakville as new comers. The experience with Pearl was fabulous. We have the lunch here while we browsing through Oakville Place. It’s located in the corner of Oakville Place but its taste should locate in the center. I feels like in Guangdong’s local restaurant and the food was amazing for the cozy noon. I will definitely go there again.

Been to this restaurant three times now, twice for Dim Sum & once for Dinner since they opened in Oakville in October 2021. Delicious food and excellent service. Prices are comparable with high-end fine dining Chinese restaurants & well worth it.

I went with my family on Saturday night. The service was slow even though the place was about half full. We ordered an appetizer before the main dishes, but it wasn't brought. The pineapple chicken fried rice was tasteless. Seemed to be prepared in a rush. For the price versus the quantity I will seriously consider it before coming back.

We were excited to try this place out as Oakville doesn’t open new restaurants very often. I think the location is a bit odd and not sure if it will do well. We ordered mainly appetizers and dim sum and they were very comparable to the quality you get an an all you can eat sushi place in the gta. The appetizers were greasy and not that tasty. The quality of the pan fried dumplings were very similar to what you can buy at Costco. The service was decent and the staff were friendly. The portions were quite large and priced fairly.

Finally tried Pearl for dinner as we are happy to have an authentic Chinese restaurant in Oakville. Great decor open spacious area with some private rooms too. Service is friendly and attentive. Good variety on the menu and worth a visit to try their dim sum. We ordered the Chinese broccoli with garlic sauce - it was my favourite with crispy garlic chips and great wok hay. Chicken with mango was ok, too sweet for me but hubby liked it. Beef and black bean rice noodles - good tender beef and tasty generous portion. Noodles a bit on the mushy side which I don’t expect considering it’s an expensive dish. All dishes were generous portions. For some reason all the tables that has all asian diners seemed to get a red bean dessert soup but we were not offered it nor was it on the menu. Apparently we don’t qualify for that secret dessert. Worth a return trip to try their dim sum.

This was our second time at Pearl. The food is quite good although definitely on the pricier side. They don't take weekend reservations online and I was taken by surprise when, on Sunday, we were asked if we have a reservation. Clarity on the website to say reservations are available by phone would be appreciated. We happened to be there on Chinese New Year and were given a bit of a dragon show. However, the show spent like 10 minutes in the mall and then another 10 minutes with the more private rooms. We have up on the dragon coming by our window table and went on with our day. We'll be back as the dim sum options in Hamilton aren't the best. Hopefully next time we can secure a reservation online.

A delicious and extremely appetizing meal. Vegetarian options are high and portions are also a good size. Would recommend if you are craving authentic Chinese/Canton food in the Oakville area

Good authentic Chinese dim sum restaurant in oakville burlington neighborhood, in par with those in Scarborough and Markham. Ha Gor is not the best, the wrapping is too mushy. Fried squids is good. Others are just unremarkable. Have not tried the dinner Menu. Not sure worth paying the premium for the dim sum. For a relatively new restaurant, carpet and bathroom already look well used.

Visited for dinner on March 19th and our first impression was nice decor, bright and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was attentive, helpful and service very quick. I read the previous reviews, and like any new restaurant it will take some time to work out kinks, but appears they are improving based on our experience. Prices are higher as compared to Chinese cuisine outside of Oakville, but it’s Oakville. Food was good and will definitely be back to try more from the menu.
