Peaceful Restaurant

Ordered a couple of party trays for a family dinner, everything was cooked to perfection and packaged nicely. The beef rolls were everyone’s favorite, so flavorful and crispy!! The salt and pepper squid was well seasoned and fried to the perfect texture. The best thing is the waitress was nice enough to let us sample their new dessert recipe, which is a coconut lychee jelly that is very refreshing for a hot day. Needless to say I’ll be back for more

I ordered from Uber eats. I ordered the tan tan noodles and it was extremely bland and greasy. Its basically just noodles drenched in vegetable oil. I had to add soy sauce to the noodles but it didn’t make it any better. It was so greasy I’m about to throw up now.

Came here on a quiet rainy evening and was surprised to be the only one dining in. The restaurant is a bit off the main roads, so I wonder if they have more success with the lunch crowd. Food tastes the same as other Peaceful locations in Vancouver, which is all I was looking for. I like their spicy chicken. Rice is extra.

Decent room, clean and tidy, friendly service… But the food does not compare to the other locations. We love Peaceful, and the downtown and Broadway locations serve up some fantastic food. But this place doesn’t stand up to those. As well there are some key menu items missing from the other locations. Still far better than Kits though.

Do not get the dan-dan noodles. It's not soup based but rather chili-oil based. They chose the THICKEST noodles similar to udon to serve, so after you mix everything together, it's like eating a ball of dough with very little flavor. Their other dishes are not bad Sweet and sour pork / spring rolls.

I took my mom there as a surprise. The soup dumplings do live up to their reputation. I was so delighted that I ordered some soup dumplings for takeout for the kids. The edible vinegar spheres were pretty cool. You can imagine my disappointment when I got home to find regular vinegar instead, so I couldn't show my kids. We ordered some hand pulled noodles to try it out. The consistency of the noodles was great, but the flavouring seemed very lackluster, with all the focus being spicy. we asked for non-spicy There was one server who didn't seem to care that we were there. There was only one other occupied table, so I would expect that she would come by to ask if we needed anything else and add hot water to the teapot. The tea started out tepid, and undrinkable. At one point I had to stand up and poke my head around to get her attention so I could order more.. And then we were waiting around for a long time to pay. It's not a good sign when we were the only customers in the restaurant at that point. This restaurant has the potential to be an awesome place, but a little more focus on more than just really good dumplings will make it so much better.

Half my order was good but the egg tomatoes rice was simply gross and overly sweet like candy. The shrimp tofu also made my girlfriend throw up. This location has poor food safety and standards. The Broadway location is much better
