While not being able to take advantage of the services that Peace of Mind Care offers because of proximity limitations in relation to my mother’s home, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank Carol for taking time to meet with me. Knowing there was no business to be had in meeting, she still made time to talk and helped me understand how to navigate the public support system and effectively advocate for my mother’s needs. Carol also shared her perspective on the how best to approach evaluating support service organizations including research, considerations, and questions to ask to ensure we find the right fit. Thank you Carol for your support, advice, and authenticity. It’s clear from our conversation that your passion is the people you care for, and your priority is their wellbeing as well as that of their families.
We have had Peace of Mind POM take care of my 80+ year old father for the last 1.5 yrs in his apt. I would highly recommend this group for anyone looking for care for their elderly family members. Carol and Ann management are fantastic to work with and are highly compassionate. The PSWs are unbelievable - kind, caring, compassionate and treat their patients as if they are their own family members. After struggling with a previous care service for my father, POM was a breath of fresh air. We cannot recommend this group enough!
Carol and the entire Peace of Mind Care team are incredible to work for. The professionalism, work life balance, clients, and dynamics is one of the best I have worked for in my career. The clients are wonderful and the management are very accommodating and fair. Lots of hours and pay is very competitive. Ann , whom manages this team is extremely respectful and will accommodate schedules based on your needs and availability. A first-rate care company for seniors Compassionate, caring, professional, reliable and so willing to go out of their way to make life enjoyable: Peace Of Mind Care is all that and more. From POM owner Carol to caregivers Patricia and Barbara, everyone at POM took a real interest in my recently widowed father and often went beyond the call of duty to make him feel life is worth living. They took a personal interest in him, his life and his plans, helped him as much or little as he needed and cooked healthy, tasty meals. They truly reflected POM Care's philosophy to help those needing a helping hand continue to live life fully and independently. My dad still recalls Patricia and Barbara fondly. I recommend them highly to anyone needing care for an elderly family member. Thanks to you all!
I cannot say enough good things about Peace of Mind Care. Their faithfulness to stay with my mother during the COVID epidemic was outstanding. They not only assisted her physical needs , but played games with her, shared her memories and stimulated her mind. They really cared about her and it did give me Peace of Mind to know that she was being so well cared for, I would definitely hire them again if I had the need for this type of service.

I'm writing this review as both a client and observer. When Carol began her foot care business I wanted to try it for myself before recommending it to others. Janet, her foot care specialist, did an excellent job on my foot care and pedicure. Having the flexibility to have this service at your home is important to me and I would highly recommend this service to anyone, especially seniors. As someone who works within the retirement living sector I have witnessed Carol's companionship services, personal care services and foot care service in action. Carol, and her teams', professional, caring and authentic approach to delivering service is phenomenal. I would highly recommend Peace of Mind Care to any adult child looking for help for a loved parent.
