Super cheap food and drinks and the best selection of dead animals you will see in a bar in the area.
I love this little hole in the wall, and I stop by basically every time I'm in Dubuque. The drinks are cheap, they have some great burger options and the decor is crazy with all the taxidermied animals.
Very kitschy, vintage beer signs, good ole Hamburgers, tuna salad ham and cheese nice selection of beers, seltzers and more. Good service and pretty laid back clientele.
We just married here! I am from NH and chose this place. It was great! Nobody else do it! We were probably the only ones! Let's keep it that way. Beatrice was one of our witnesses. She was clutch and a truly amazing person. We wanted to buy her drinks but she refused and instead bought US drinks. Burgers were simple and yum, don't expect gourmet but if you want a no frills friendly dive, this place fits the bill.
These amazing cheeseburgers are made in the most unique cooker I have ever seen! First read about Paul's in George Motz's best selling book Hamburger America. Great bar, people and of course awesome cheeseburgers! Make sure and add this place to your list and don't ask for avocados on your burger! Great burger and good price. Friendly atmosphere.
Bartender was completely oblivious to all patrons. Hamburger made with last week's meat and the Coors Light was expired. Prepare to be disappointed.
Best old school bar burger in Dubuque. They grill the onions and burgers on this little machine at the bar and trust me, it all works. No shortage of moose and deer heads.
Great service. Hot ham and cheese was delicious as was the local beer.
Fun place to go and get the best burger in dubuque!
