The food was really good. The hash browns were not very crispy. I had avocado toast and it was really good except that they put too much feta cheese on the toast. The bacon was done to perfection and was really thick. My son had chocolate chip pancakes which were good, the pancakes would have been better with whipped cream instead of powered sugar. The eggs were done really well. Service was good and they recently expanded.
We ordered egg omelette we got scrambled eggs that to half cooked and hash brown were raw potatoes with smelling oil. French toast was burnt and apple sauce has no taste. On top of it host was rude in behavior with grumpy face. We asked for water without ice twice but got water with ice both the time and they served us cold coffee on different table and asked us to move, why didn’t they asked us to take seat on right table at first? And the tone and language they used for us too move was rude too. we stayed only because we were at starving limit and ate just to calm our hunger down. Will not return or recommend this to anyone.
I hate to give this reveiw, but for the 1st time. The service was unacceptable and food was not good. We have been going to Patty's for years now. To this location in Edmonds we have been coming for years. The omelet my partner ordered was undercooked and not at all an omelet. My Huevos rancheros were so disappointing. I ordered corn tortillas on the side. These were clearly over cooked and stale. Half of my eggs were raw, my partner insisted we let them know how unpleasant our 2 dishes were. Once we informed them of the disappointing dishes. Then our table was totally ignored. No refills on our drinks. No refills on our paid drinks coffee, and soda. I had to go and ask for a box. As now our table was ignored, and other tables were lavish with friendly service. I told my partner, we would not returning to this location in Edmonds on Hwy 99 and 200th for some time. It was unacceptable the No services we received. My partner had just left the oncologist office after receiving Chemotherapy and just wanted a nice breakfast. I have seen other reviews mention the issues with the eggs, yet apparently they still have not made an effort to change this mistake.
Every thing about my experience with top notch. Food is amazing, server was great and very professional. Definitely going to continue come
FOR THE EDMONDS LOCATION ONLY I usually love this chain. And this is my first bad experience in one. The staff are rude. The food is mediocre and very, very over-priced. They're too lazy to provide their famous jelly. If you've been to a Patty's you're probably familiar with their excellent jelly. This location doesn't for some reason. The food was mediocre. This place needs new management or should change the name.
I have been a regular at the Holman location for years, so when I moved to Edmonds I was happy to see there was a Patty's up here also. Other locations have always been happy to substitute hash browns for pancakes, which makes sense from a food cost perspective, potatoes cost more than pancake mix. Last time I went to this location I was told I could substitute hash browns AND toast for pancakes, I told her that didn't make sense and I wanted my toast also. When I went to pay she charged me for the toast. So not only did they save the money by me ordering a food that actually costs less than the one on the menu they only gave me 1 pancake, most restaurants offer 2 for hash brown substitutions, they charged me toast which usually comes with the bacon and eggs I've been getting for years at another location. Luckily I found Pancake Haus, my new favorite spot in Edmonds, and I don't have to go back to this Patty's location. All this over 2 slices of toast.
Actually this is a great place to eat, however, when I called to buy gift certificates for my daughters they said, I would need to do so in person. I do not live any where near a Patty's Egg next and was shocked that they would not sell me gift certificates over the phone. It was a let down but I did find another nice restaurant near my daughters who were willing to take my money and send out gift certificates.
Through all of the restaurants I have been to, this place is truly the worst in terms of food and service. This branch, in particular, damps the entire Patty's Eggnest franchise and really shows a side in modern restaurants that I wasn't aware could exist. The attitude of the employees were all rude and the manager was the most appalling. It is clear that the staff have never even thought of the food they were serving, to the point where I'm not sure the employees know what an eggs benedict is. Terrible restaurants like this should not be supported and the abysmal quality should be known before eating here.
That was the absolute worst chicken fried steak I ever had in my life. It looked and tasted like a McDonald's chicken nugget. The manager cris then had the audacity to charge $15 for a tiny bowl of fruit and some eggs. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else if you want some breakfast food.
Service has been consistently poor. I kept going here because my kids like the bear face pancakes. But I can't stand it anymore - they brought only 1 set of silverware and 1 straw there was 3 of us. When I asked for an extra knife she walked away without acknowledging the request so when I said "excuse me" as she passed back she said "Yeah, I heard you". There was no fruit on the bear face pancakes. The last straw was when I went to pay and get a to go container, they cleared our table even though half my food was still there half a $17 scramble and $2 bacon. Worst service and now I have to explain to my kids why we can't ever go back because you don't go somewhere where they mistreat you.
