Definitely a memorable restaurant with a great atmosphere! The wait time after ordering can be a bit long but it's definitely worth it. My sister and I went once and had to stop by again a few months later. The quality was the same! Everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend making a trip to Port Dalhousie for Patio Andaluz.
Let me just cut the the chase. 1. Amazing food! The food and drink here will have you smiling and feeling real good. Trust me. .. the hibiscus margarita... just try it. 2. Good service, be patient and know you're getting top quality. 3. Good vibes and atmosphere. The patio opening when the weather is nice will definitely b a vibe.
Atmosphere? 7/10 Service? 4/10 Price? 2/10 too expensive I’m sure our experience was just one of the few bad apples because it was an hour before close and I’ve seen this place run good business from a distance due to the popularity. We showed up with reservations at 9:15 pm. We sat for 15 mins waiting for a menu and then another 20 minutes just for ONE GLASS OF WINE. The heater on the patio were turned off despite the air feeling breezy cold at roughly 15 degrees. The menu is very pricey. Appetizers start at around $16 and mains like three tacos go upwards to $25. Outrages. However the atmosphere is very nice. Beautiful patio and indoor decorations and the soft Latin music adds to it. Wouldn’t recommend.
The location in Old Port Dalhousie is very cool. The atmosphere is lively and fun, while the service is friendly and hospitable. The menu is fairly impressive. I had Tacos al Pastor which were delicious but the pork was slightly tough or overcooked. But overall, it's a great place for a fun, lively evening!
Great experience. Good service, good food and a great Margarita. It is well located, close to the beach and the leisure area. Prices are fair. The highlight is the good service. For lunch I recommend Paella. The decoration of the place is also a highlight, from the utensils to the environment itself. The only negative is the odor from the sewage treatment plant, which is common in that .
We had never been to St Catherine's before and we were so happy that we went to Patio Andaluz! The food was amazing! You can 100% taste the quality and the authenticity. Hands down the best fajitas we've ever had! The carnitas quesadillas were also tasty stuffed to the brim with cheese and meat nothing like a skimpy one from a chain restaurant. The atmosphere was very colourful, vibrant and made for a lovely dining experience. Friendly prompt service. One minor suggestion: the sour cream, salsa and queso came served in paper cups on the sizzling hot pan and they mostly melted with the cup disintegrating. We'll be coming back to try different menu items.
Alejandra and her team were able to host us and about 20 friends for a birthday party. The food and ambiance is great. I'd highly recommend their seafood paella and taco's! This has become a regular spot for us since the food is so good and their patio is legit.
Alejandra and family absolutely went above and beyond for our very large and loud group of 19! They re arranged seats last minute and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food , drinks and ambience as well as superb service. A must go when in Port Dalhousie!
The food here is incredible. We had the seafood paella takes really long to make, so order as soon as you are seated. It was packed with flavour and made to perfection. We also enjoyed the tacos and the clams. The clams were very small, but the white wine and garlic sauce was so yummy that we asked for extra bread to dip! The only negative comment I have and reason for my 4 star is the service we received was not the best. We felt a little like an after thought in comparison to the way the other tables were served. 5 star to the chefs! You guys know your Spanish cuisine. Will be back.
Went on a day that surprisingly hot in October so patio was thankfully open. Service and food was amazing. Unfortunately they were out of the Spanish cider, the side order of beans or rice are actually very big portions. Nachos were yummy and done with feta cheese. Would definitely come back
