Pastel Rita is the dreamiest cafe I've ever visited. The barista was so friendly my husband and I don't speak French and are obviously American - he welcomed us as his first visitors from Wisconsin. The cafe is the most adorable. Wes Anderson wishes he could achieve this vibe in his films. The latte was delicious. Pastry was tasty. And just being in the cafe made me smile. A lot. Five outta five - would recommend!
Really sweet place with very attentive service. We were a group of 4 and couldn't find a table and were about to leave, but the barista spotted us and took care of seating us perfectly. Great lattes and sandwiches!Food: 5/5
Great experience overall in a charming and lively Montreal cafe! The staff were polite and courteous. Very open and engaging decor and space. The seating could be more comfortable with a few pillows as the chairs are a little hard on the old backside. I had a beautiful mocha that matched with the golden finish of the tables and carried the chocolate flavour very well. Additionally I tried the grilled-cheese beautiful golden cheesy crust, best I’ve had in town so far. The girlfriend also had an incredibly refreshing sea-buckthorn limonade. Iced and cool! Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is welcoming. It would be perfect if only the seating arrangement was more comfortable. Thanks for the experience.
An unexpected cute & different café! Good coffee and treats, nice decor ! Happy they did something with the w. c. , a lot of restaurants just don’t care .
The staff is friendly, kind even...but, the coffees tasted burnt with an aftertaste lingering. The sandwiches were underwhelming, nothing for a side at the prices charged. And mustard on both sides of a bun with an egg, not what I expected. Thanks for coming by a few times.Food: 2/5
Amazing spot. Staff were super friendly. Sat at the bar and watched the chef make grilled cheese - YUM. Had coffee and the most delicious Rice Krispie square I’ve ever had don’t tell my grandmama!
such a cute cafe and the barista is so nice! the drinks are rlly good and unique also the decor is adorable. however the space was a bit smaller than i thought but the vibes were extremely good
Very cute and aesthetic cafe. Their iced oat milk latte was very creamy. I also tried their iced coffee with lime which was very interesting... I don’t think it’s my preference but I can see how some people may like it. The baristas here were also very friendly!
Beautiful interior and friendly staff! The space was very clean and the food was delicious. Wish there were more drink options like iced tea, but the cocktail menu looked so good! I’d definitely come back when I visit Montreal again.
Wonderful specialty café, bistro and wine bar in Mile End district. I only tried the double espresso and it was one of the best in Montréal. Joslin is a great barista, great to talk to him. plenty of light inside, the bar is in the middle of people. I Will come back again for sure!!Food: 5/5
