Very nice park, great playground for kids and plenty of walking trails
Nice Park with lots of different play area just beside the lake
I cleaned the building. Last night there is a rental and I had to wash the floor. Cloudy skies. Dark when arriving . Watching the brightness come. 39 degrees with a slight wind. Fall is here!
Really mice park surrounding the lake. Nice trail and plenty of tables around to have a picnic.
Wow it was amazing to see the frozen lake
Love the lake views and access at this park, but the playground was filthy. Garbage everywhere. I believe school groups stop here for lunch and maybe don’t clean up after themselves.
What a great little park! I think we’ll definitely come back for the trail and the playground, but unfortunately we hit the beach today early June 2021 to try and cool off during this 95* heat wave we’ve been having… and found ourselves with a bad case of swimmer’s itch. The beach is great, but beware the shallow water and sand. Even growing up in MN, I’ve never had swimmer’s itch before, but I guess it happens from warmer water temps. If you’re sticking to the deeper cooler water, you might be ok if you avoid sitting in the sand.
Parker Lake Park is nice and peaceful. You can come with a bag of charcoal and burn some meat, or hot dogs. Rent canoes, or throw your rod in the water...I do know there are plenty of catfish in here, maybe perch, a Loch Ness monster or two, maybe..?? It is peaceful and you can enjoy some time by the water. Feed the ducks and fight off Canadian Geese, it's a good time to be had by all.
Very beautiful lake, lots of family recreation areas, dock, stage, park, etc. history plaques posted educate you on Plymouth history as well as the local wildlife. It's only half the lake that's public, but still very much worth a visit. It also links with the super awesome luce line for all the bikers out there.
Small park and beach but lots of great features; pavilion for rentals, fountain/garden area makes for great photos, lifeguarded beach, boat launch, playground, picnic shelters, stage for concerts, walking path around lake - connects to the Luce Line, and sand volleyball area.
