Night markets on Wednesdays are great Playground: A couple climbers, sand, swings, wading pool in summer Restrooms: Not always open Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leash, not near playground or pool Picnic area: Grassy area with stage
Lovely adjacent Market and a sweet park. Too bad that the restrooms beside the playground weren’t open midday
One of our family's favorite parks. Next to the market too.
There are parking meters from the city of Ottawa but it's free on Sunday and after 17h30 on weeknights. Playground: there is a kid pool and it's family oriented. Restrooms: at less one men and female washroom
A great place to take your family for a day at the park. A good variety of structures for children of various ages to play on and a good sized wading pool for the hot summer days. As a bonus, it's right next to the Parkdale Market to get some fresh, healthy fruits and vegetable snacks, or within walking distance of several other treat locations.
Excellent park for young children. The play structure is fenced in. Wading pool operates in the summer months. There is a bathroom that is open when the pool is open, as well as being available at other times. There is also an open space for bigger kids, and parking. Not to mention being right next to the market where you can buy fruits and vegetables.
It's more like a green space for kids rather than a park : but really great, as there is sand box with toys and additionally has all the regular climbing attractions. It is completely closed, so no dogs can run in, which I find amazing.
Loved this park for my 1 1/2 year old. The various toys were great to keep him occupied. The wading pool was very cold though, and he didn't enjoy it although everyone else did!
They have nice seating and safe looking play structures. There are usually lifeguards nearby for the pool and it's very well maintained. + There's often food available next door from the parkdale farmers market!
Great park - good for all ages of kids. There is a wading pool, fenced in playground, swings and a covered area for picnics. Plus it is right next to Parkdale Market.
