It was my second visit to this hidden gem.nLocation is in the downtown area, that's why it is out of my way. I was served by Umar, who is one of the finest sales associates I have ever met. Umar assisted me in making the selection of the food items. My preference was non-alcoholic and non-gelatin items and he advised about the right selection.nPrices are reasonable, store atmosphere was comfortable, there was a good selection of bakery items including ready-made cakes.nThe only downfall is its downtown location and paid parking around the area.
This is a great little cafe bakery to spend some time in. Went with my daughter today and we had wonderful treats with our Earl Gray tea. Their giant long donuts... sorry I don't know what they're called, are to die for! If I ever find myself on death row and need to pick a last meal, It is going to be that donut. I would say two of them but I barely finished the one they were so big!nMy daughter had a slice of lemon cake and I think that's what she would ask for for a last meal ...nWill most definitely come back again and try it more of their amazing array of snacks and treats and baked goods.nI didn't give a full five stars to service because mainly you help yourself. And that's fine, but the staff just stay behind the counter and do their job there.nIf I want to be picky I could think of two things that I would change to make it a nicer experience to eat there. I would use ceramic cups and not paper ones, and I would use proper forks that were metal or plastic and not the wooden ones. These two things diminish are really nice treat and we all know things taste better when you use real cutlery etc.nOtherwise I recommend this case 100%! Delicious delicious delicious!
I visited Pair Baguette Café this morning, and it was a delightful experience! The café is spacious with an inviting ambiance that gives off a unique and relaxing vibe. The variety of desserts, pastries, croissants, and other tempting treats is incredible. They also offer fresh bread and cakes that are hard to resist.nnWe tried the latte, coffee frappe, almond croissant, egg sandwich, and a few pastries—all of which were absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have very lovely staff, very kind and helpful It's a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food in a cozy setting.
It's right on 82nd ave, parking is very limited, have to park on the street.nPlace is very clean and tidy. As soon as you enter you get the fresh coffee and pastry smell which is nice. Staff could get more training on people skills.nCakes are way over priced, pastry's are fresh and tasty. Coffees are fresh and excellent. Place is full with university students. It's a nice place to go to have coffee and a pastry. I would recommend this place. 8.7/10
Heard lot of great things and had to try.nnIt’s hard to rate an entire bakery based off one experience. We ordered 4 items and tried them all. My favourite was the fruit pastry. The round croissant was kind of hit and miss for me $8. The mochi donut was too sweet to eat. The lemon bun was okay.nnOverall it was a pleasant experience but the prices were pretty high for just an okay experience.
