Amazing is all I can think of. Food and service both. Ordered grapefruit lavender tart It was $12 and seemed a little high priced but it was so good that we ended up getting one more. Their chocolate chip cookie is absolutely delicious and so is the butter tart.nI know when my coffee is not good and I must say their latte was awesome. Very happy
First time in and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff was friendly and pivoting and told us about their recommendations and history of some of the food stuff.nnThe croissant sandwich was filling and super fresh tasting. That tomato, tho so so good. We were also offered two free macarons since they noticed it was our first time! Very sweet of them.
I have nothing but all praise for this bake shop. I should start with the food here but I’ll take my chance and appreciate the wonderful hosts and hostesses/ servers there. I have visited this place thrice now and every time they are so ready to help you out with your order. The place has got beautiful and clean ambiance. Their baked goods are top- notch and the hot-chocolate drink is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Great cafe and of course, iconic bakery here in Edmonton! Oh my goodness… the baked goods are so great! My personal favourites are the macaroons and chocolate chip cookies! Despite the baked goods being so expensive, it is all worth it!
I think Duchess has enough reviews that they don't necessarily need mine, but I wanted to add my input!nI have recently fallen in love with macarons and wanted to find some delicious ones in the city — all the reviews said these were the best. I love west and don't find myself with much free time, so I raced here after work and was first of all, greeted with a delightful atmosphere, very soft colours, soft chatter, quite a few tables and it smelled amazing. I was a smidge confused because there were two counters and I wasn't sure where to go? I'm a little stupid though nBut I figured it out and was greeted by a lovely gentleman who helped me out and got me sorted. I wish I'd taken photos of the inside because it was so pretty.nThe macarons are delicious. So good. So pretty. Some very lovely flavours.nThere was a taste tester of a blueberry...tart maybe? Oh my god it was so good. It was SO GOOD. But I'm in love with these macarons.nHighly recommend, between the ambience and the delicious treats go here. You will not be disappointed with the desserts.
