Everything you expect from a small town hardware store. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest.
My wife went to buy salt for the drive way, the pile was well over her head and she ended up getting hurt when one of the bags fell on her, meanwhile 5 plus employees stood around doing nothing and not one offered to help her. She's a small lady and the bags were all frozen together and very hard for her to lift down. That'll be the last time we shop there. 90% of the time they send you somewhere else because they're so small they barely have anything. Don't waste your time, go across town to the building center
The lady who answered the phone not only tried to suggest a different product than the one I was looking for, but when I came to pick up my order, I politely called her 'Dear' in an attempt to show respect to my elders; and she responded with, "I'm not your dear." I just want this community to know what kind of service and attitude to expect from this location, and frankly I'm excited for the new Home Hardware to open on Butler. Just for reference, this interaction was yesterday.
Small town service with big town selection. This Home Hardware has all the products and services that make this brand a mainstay for smaller towns. Well laid out, good signage, friendly helpful people and great service. Enough parking, wheelchair accessible. Worth a visit.
Small town Home hardware with great staff. They're helpful and always friendly. I'm always amazed at how my much stuff they manage to pack in such a small footprint. Keep up the good work.
Never met a store that is trying to put themselves out of business so much, disrespectful staff, completely lost, arrogant, wackos, going completely biserk over Covid rules, will never shop there again, left store went to there competition, line up outside store, all ex Home Hardware customers, all saying the same thing. All female staff in that store should be fired immediately. Completely pathetic service.

Great little hardware store for your everyday needs. What they don't have in-store, they can order and you'll have it in a day or two. Home Hardware sources Canadian-made products whenever possible. If my motorhome was a NASCAR racer, it would have Home Hardware decals all over it! Here's a picture of a CA$16 Canadian-made plumbing coupler which performs much better than the US$84 OEM motorhome part.
Pare's is a small town hardware store. Space is limited, but they carry a good supply of general hardware items and will happily order in for you if needed. During the pandemic things have been hard, but they've continued to meet the needs of our local community.
