I had to order some sheets of mdf for a project that I am working on. The lady that took the order at the lumber desk was friendly and quick. The gentleman that ripped the sheets for me was also friendly and helpful. When the material was ready they loaded my vehicle. Unfortunately I did not get their names. I would definitely recommend this Cole's Timber Mart in Brighton for a selection of wood and other products that you need.
im trying to look up your prices on baseboards on your website ,,,, to see what you how much and if in stock ,,,,your website doesn't allow me to search products !! 8:25 AM You sent ok nvm i called your store to see if i can look up what you have in stock they say look up Alexandria moulding ,,,but it shows tons of profiles etc,,but no prices no availability no in stock now ,,,,, very disappointing ,,, thus i cannot buy local as you cannot tell me what is available now or what is in stock ,or prices ....why have a website that does not allow this!!, So i guess the Americans get my money at Home Depot
Would never buy drywall mud from this place ever again. Dried out . Even added water to it but it was to far gone. So then I had to drive from brighton to cobourg to home depot to get drywall mud then back to brighton to the customers house. Waste of money and gas
I have never had a good experience here. The first time I waited and waited for help, went to the desk, lined up to find help and ended up walking out. There were staff visible chatting upstairs but no one on the sales floor. They lost some very large sales from me as I was just about to start a whole house Reno. Second visit I needed a tap and again no one around to help. The tap rang in more than the sticker price on the shelf and was told the prices have changed. Would not honour price which is against the law. Left without tap. I will not shop in this store.
We used Coles installation crew to lower our kitchen counter and install a replacement skylight in a bathroom. They provided a detailed written estimate and that's exactly the amount we were billed. No "whoops - extra charge!" so no surprises. The crew were wonderfully skilled, efficient, personable and accommodating. Started and finished as promised and every detail was looked after. Absolutely no complaints with Coles - highly recommended!

I went in to buy some lumber and poly sheeting for my raised garden. The help desk was a little short-staffed so I had to wait a bit, not bad, but then they called it mute staff to help as the lineup grew.They were helpful taking the order and directing me where to pick it up. The yard staff were quick and helpful, picking through the lumber to make sure I got the best pieces. I got what I needed fairly quickly and smoothly. Now I'm working on my project.
Timber mart has been so helpful through all of this pandemic business! They're quick and efficient with their curbside assistance. Which has allowed me to finish up a project. Very friendly, helpful staff. Thank you Coles Timber Mart.
