Paramount Middle Eastern Kitchen

I ordered the mixed grill. First of all, they gave me the wrong order. Luckily I checked the bill and it was for something else. Chicken were perfect. Beef items were very dry and chewy. They put only one small slice of spicy pita. I would have loved more. Fries, rice and salad were ok and as usual. The house bread on the side was amazing. Definitely worth trying, however I would prefer chicken over beef.

To be honest, I knew this restaurant only because the owner helped more than 100 Syrian refugees and because he is a recipient of the Order of Canada. But my wife and I went for brunch on Sunday and the place, the food and the service is fantastic. The pita bred is served fresh, baked at the moment, the falafal salad was exquisite as it was the lentils soup, and the beef and chicken shawarma was an excellent election: yummy and a big portion! And as dessert, I suggest you to order the Paramount Special, a kind of delicious fruit juice/salad. This place is an extraordinary Lebanese cuisine experience.

Delicious, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. I had been craving a good shawarma for months from the West Coast where our options are limited and this certainly hit the spot. We shared the vegetarian platter which had hummus, tabouli, moutabbal, falafel, and arnabeet fried cauliflower. For mains we both had the beef shawarma wrap, which were delicious however we found the meat to be a bit dry - some extra sauce would have helped with that. Otherwise everything was fresh, super flavourful, and the portions were great for price. Coffee was tasty and the service very friendly. We will be back!

I would have give 5 stars for the food but not really satisfied with the customer service. Highly recommended to try the best middle eastern food. The food was so delicious and quick. However, would not recommend if you are looking for fine dinning or customer service. It was busy when I went and so they served us the appetizers and main course together and the table cannot accommodate all of them. They would just come and put food on the table without any exchange of words. I would may be do it as a take out next time because big fan of their food!!

We had our Christmas lunch here not much restaurants were open at the time so it was bit busy we had to wait quite a bit to get a table. Food was just amazing. Really friendly staff, even thought the restaurant was busy all the tables were promptly served.

This place is really good, Service is very quick and polite and attentive staff. Had falafel its delicious Also my friends had chicken shawarma they loved it too. Had some pistachio baklava and that too fresh and yummy Served complimentary pita breads Must visit to this place

Staff are really nice and quick, I really wish I could give them 5 stars but the food wasn’t quite as I expected. They serve fresh house made bread which is great, but the bread was bland and needed some salt. We ordered mixed grill and halloumi salad. The rice was almost cold and a little dry. Kabobs tasted good, specially the chicken one. Salad tasted good too but I was hoping for a bigger portion.

Very suitable for friends gathering, with a lot of chicken/beef/veggie options to cater to everyone’s needs. We spent almost 2.5 hours chatting on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was quiet and cozy. I didn’t give it 5 star just because I don’t find myself like middle eastern food a lot, but that was my personal taste. It comes with a big portion, so you won’t go wrong if you like the middle eastern food!

Enjoyed every last bite. I had the Veg platter option. Delectable. Lovely staff. I missed Mujadara that day. Winded up the meal with a lovely dessert.

I would give five stars except on account of the service I’m going to avoid recounting. They were probably short-staffed. I would recommend the chicken schwarma wrap with extra chicken the steep upcharge is worth it. The wrap had a delectable combination of flavors I’ve never before experienced. The spicy potatoes are worthwhile as a side dish. Also, the waitress brought a piping hot piece of pita bread to the table prior to the meal that almost melted in my mouth!
