Love the light crispy chicken saaj that I don’t find at many other shawarma place. Definitely feels like a home cooked meal everything I eat here. The staff is like family and super kind! I’ve never had once bad experience. Once I had to wait a bit longer during their opening so they threw in free drinks and extras to make up for it. Their beef saaj, fries, and lentil soup at also super delish! Highly recommend :
The beef tastes good. Recommend. The chicken is okay.. a bit over seasoned. Photos are of ‘Mixed on the Rocks’ with Garlic sauce and Hot sauce with lettuce, cucumber & pita toppings on the side. Only thing is they give a very small amount of rice.
Great shswarma, fresh and tasty. Just wish they had option for hummus on the side
YUMMY TUMACIOUS!!! definitely a must-try restaurant in the bay. My partner and I make a stop here atleast once a week on our evening walks. The people who work there are so kind and friendly Food: 5/5
The Lady was very nice, but took 12 mins just to take my order. They had no pita bread left or hummus. The falafel tasted stale, oversalted and undercooked. The beef shawarma was okay The poutine was way too salty. All in all pretty shocking food and service for a place. The falafel was downright disgusting. Unbelievable they have high reviews. Would never come here again ever
Please don’t sell buy 1 get 1 free on food apps if you can’t provide the same product as you do in the restaurant. The two shawarmas were less than one regular one and it still came up to $21. Taste was 3.5/10, chicken super dry with very little garlic sauce. Shame on you guys
Great chicken shawarma. I like the balance of meat, saj, sauces and veggies. The menu is simple - not too many options; a place that does a few things, but right. The location is a bonus.
I could take only one photo of the shawarma. Large portion but I gobbled it up in one go. Very tasty and excellent service. Very friendly staff. New place but great menu and good prices for the portions . Definitely going back !
UPDATE- so I went back here to try the falafel, it was OK. They changed the prices of their menu though. The first week the menu stated falafel pita was $5.99 however now it is $7.99. But the thing that was most disappointing was the change to their fries. The first time I went they were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, lightly seasoned. This time they were soft and soggy and overly seasoned. See my pics for reference. Not sure I’ll give it another go. I really wanted to love this place as it’s the only shawarma around. The shawarma and fries were good, however the establishment is still very slow and unorganized. I asked for no garlic and add hot sauce, unfortunately I got the opposite. Considering it’s a new joint I am willing to look past that. I wanted to give this place another shot but some of the recent reviews of uncooked chicken is very concerning especially with my vomit phobia. Hesitant to return now. :S :S
Disappointing. First off the humus leaked all over the bag, probably should invest in paper bags to keep items upright, or better containers. Secondly, the shawarma…wasn’t wrapped in the typical way, so stuff was falling out of both ends making it impossible to eat. It was SO greasy, to the point the pita it was wrapped in had fallen apart from the grease. Gross. All I can taste is grease, none of the other toppings I put on or the garlic sauce. Really disappointed because I was excited to try this place. Don’t think I’ll be back- waste of money.
