Ordered take-out bowls and they were very tasty. You can build you own bowls or select off the menu. Vegan items and gluten free items on the menu are clearly marked. They have tofu for plant based protein. Their soft serve is also vegan which you can load on with extra toppings.
You can see and taste the care put into the food. Always super friendly service and delicious food. Very happy they weathered both the pandemic and the downtown protest. Will be back!
My favourite takeout in Ottawa! Very fresh ingredients and the staff pack the bowls full. I always make my own so I can tailor it to my tastes. Staff are always very kind and welcoming.
Ordered Uber eats from here . Very stingy with the salmon . Each bowl had about 4 small pieces of salmon , I get salmon is expensive however it is the main point of the dish so having it gone in a few bites is heavily disappointing . I have had poke at many other places in Toronto and never seen this little amount of salmon , I doubt they are using really high quality salmon so I don’t get the reason to be chinsy. Their prices are around 18 dollars so with that price I would except a decent amount of protein .Also they forgot the sauce so I guess that added to my disappointment.
Follow my food blog on Instagram for restaurant reviews: @mimi.munches! . For poké bowls , @paradisepoke.ca delivers with colourful, fresh, and tasty bowls - featured here are their poké bowls: Royal Hawaiian, with Ahi Tuna , Heat Wave with Canadian Salmon , and a Build Your Own Paradise poké bowl I chose Canadian Salmon and various toppings. There are always people lining up at lunch, which means they are popular!
Great tasting poke bowls. Probably the best ones I’ve had in Ottawa. A bit on the pricey side but they do give generous servings with very fresh ingredients. Lots of different variety of bowls you can get from their signature bowls or you can customize your own! A must-try is their froco frozen coconut ice cream. It’s super refreshing and so delicious. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming :
Loved the poké bowels here. We made two build-your-own poké bowl orders and everything was great ! We made the pickup order at the shop and the inside looked very aesthetically beautiful and clean. The gentleman who was taking our order was very welcoming and extremely nice to us; he explained how the menu worked and showed us our options since it was our first time trying the place out. The bowls we received were very clean and tasted delicious ! Everything from the rice to the salmon was really good. Only thing I would recommend is; paying for extra protein in our case salmon, to have a more filling bowl. Other than that everything was great. The menu is clear and very easy to read. Portions were good. Service was great. Would recommend visiting this place ! We definitely will be back soon !
I love this poke place! They have such good vegetarian options and the location is just lovely; the aesthetic is so nice and the workers are patient and helpful. The portions are pretty good for the price 12-16$, but be ready to spend a little bit more. They sometimes have a froyo station during the summer but the poke is really why anyone should go! Love you guys
Honestly, one of the best poke bowls I've had in a long time. Got the Heat Wave and splurged on adding avocado and seaweed salad.. the bowl was filled to the top. Everything fresh, no odd tastes like I've experienced at other places. I think $20 for this is reasonable, considering size and ingredients used. Will be returning. I dont get the reviews that say this is expensive, these ingredients don't even compare to potatoes, or other cheap ingredients you would find in a shawarma platter. Fish is expensive, veggies aren't cheap either. Also very friendly staff!
This place has delicious and fresh Hawaiian poke bowls. I do like that you can customize your own meals with some pre-set options. The customer service is above average. If I had to point out a flaw, it is that I do find that it is slightly overpriced given the small portions of food. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this place for a quick bite, perhaps on a monthly basis given the price points. If it's any consolation, despite the expense, at least I do feel that you're able to get a healthy meal so you don't have to feel guilty about eating food from here.
