We immigrated to Canada nearly three years ago, and at first, we didn’t have enough understanding of how things work here. That’s why I’m writing this review seven months after transferring my son to a different place, hoping it comes across as fair.nThe first issue we faced was with a senior east Asian teacher who had a rather strict approach and behaved almost harshly. When we raised our concerns, she criticized the gentle parenting style of Iranian families and claimed the problem was with us and our cultural upbringing. When we brought this to the attention of the center’s director—who is also Iranian—she supported the teacher’s behavior and said she is one of her best teacher in the daycare. Since we didn’t have enough knowledge of Canadian culture, which is even more gentle, at the time, we endured it. Fortunately, after a few months, the teacher was replaced, and the new teachers who came afterward were much better and we are really thankful of them since they were aware of the previous teacher behavior, they have done their best to compensate the previous issue, but unfortunately, the damage had already been done, and we're still dealing with its effects.nThe second issue was the constant change of teachers in each class. Apparently, there is a shortage of staff, and teachers are constantly being rotated or replaced. This was frustrating and continued right until the end. That said, the center’s director usually behaved in a respectful manner, which made the situation a little more bearable.nAt the new daycare, none of these issues exist. The teachers are very kind, and we don’t have to tolerate harsh behavior just because we are more sensitive about our children. Also, in the past seven months, there has been no teacher turnover at all.nIn summary, the space quality is satisfactory, and the teachers are great. However, you may face challenges if you or your children are sensitive, as the rules are quite strict. For example, bringing your own food for the kids is not allowed—only simple snacks are permitted. Children are required to eat the provided food even if they do not like it. If we had not been newcomers unfamiliar with the situation or regulations, we would have changed daycares a long time ago.
This daycare is excellent and very well-run. Sophia and Hamirez are excellent, caring, attentive, and extremely involved. All of the teachers are pleasant, reasonable, and provide excellent care for the children. My child has had an excellent time at Paradise and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Very family and friendly atmosphere. The daily schedule is organized according to the age needs of the child. High-quality and balanced nutrition. The daycare centre is located in a quiet and cozy area, there are two outdoor playgrounds where children can play with water and watch how plants grow. The teaching staff works as a team and is always looking for interesting and developing activities for children. This is a photo from our graduation!
Thank You so much for taking care of my baby. Too bad we had to move to Calgary but when we were in Edmonton, this is the place where my child called second home. The teachers are extremely friendly and always went the extra mile to make your child’s experience memorable. The management, Sophia and Hamirez strive hard to make this one of the best daycare places in Edmonton and I would say that they succeeded in doing so. It is bright and clean inside which I believe is really important. My baby still recites the names of her teaches that makes me believe they did a great job in giving her the best experience. All the best @paradise learning centre and I would highly recommend this place for any parent out there who is looking for a place for their child.
Definitely yes and again yes! This is the first daycare for our daughter, it was very important to me that my child was comfortable, the teachers did everything to make the adaptation successful. Now my daughter is running to this daycare with great pleasure! I'm very grateful to the whole team! There are music, French, dance lessons. A delicious and balanced food. We are so happy to have become part of this big family.
