Pape's Fair Valley Inn

Small bar and grill out in the middle of nowhere. I worked about 15 minutes away and this was the place my department would go for special occasions. Service is slow, but very personal and the food is fantastic. I don't recall anyone ever getting something they didn't really enjoy. If you like a burger prepared like you would at home, this is a great place to go. Plenty of choices for how potatoes sides are prepared, plus a sweet potato option. They make a wicked Old Fashioned. Weekdays are usually really slow for lunch. Sometime there's only one or two other people there. The weekends get really packed, often spilling out into the outdoor tent and yard.

Small bar kind of out of the way, but worth the drive. The staff was friendly and the appetizers and burgers were great. I've only been here once, but it looks like they have plenty of room for outside activities. Their facebook page shows they have food specials and other events going on each month.

Stopped in last night. Wonderful burger and great wings. Bar was very clean and super friendly. Can't wait to come back and check out the outdoor patio. Be sure to stop in if you get the chance!
