Nice fried cod sandwich options.  Food was good value. More vegetarian and at leat one vegan option would be appreciated

Service was s-l-o-w, employees bitching to each other, tables still had last diner's plates on them n not even busy. Chicken dinner was small. French toast huge but had NO flavor. Sorry can't recommend to anyone.

Was there last Sunday for breakfast.  Waited quite a while for order to be taken.  Got our food about a hour and a half after we were seated.  Order was not correct.  Many people did not wait for their food and got up and walked out.  They were very busy but no excuse for this.  Ownership changed a few months ago and downhill from there.

No frills diner with good food and shakes!  I didnt partake, but the pies loom spectacular and were clearly a popular choice! I was uniquely amused to see a bench in the restaurant from the August Dereleth Society.

Excellent home made pies at a seriously good price.  I try to stop there whenever I pass through Sauk City. Home made meals too.
