Food - amazing, every time I come I can expect the same quality of food and flavours. Most importantly, they ACTUALLY do their spices right none of that mild bs but actually fresh peppers and real spice Service- expect your usual Asian restaurant service no kiss a**ing and begging for tips, just being real and get you what you ask for and do their job Perfect for everyday hungry souls.

Visited with my boyfriend and ordered the bullfrog legs for fun and the chicken cartilage dish. Also got the rice with pork fat and green onion. All dishes were fine. Price was too high for the flavor though. The bullfrog legs were mostly chili peppers and very few legs. The waitress was very nice and they had a cute patio set up. If I go back, I will get other things on the menu. It's cash only btw.

After a hard day of work,i was really hungry.On the drive home on Spadina Ave.we stumbled on this gem of seafood restaurant.Oh boy!the spicy crawfish hotpot was a real showstopper!It was so tasty! I would definitely go back to this restaurant to try something new and be surprise how great the food is gonna be!

It was fine. Pretty expensive for what you get. We got crispy bull frog legs for $19 and chicken heart for 13 also. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. They gave us complimentary gelatin desert which was ok. The service was very good though, they have call buttons on the patio tables. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Overall probably will not be back but it was fun .

Located in downtown, the place is not fancy. A few of big seatings with mostly young chinese students customer. Quite flexible we ordered something not on menu but not enough salt. Taste is pretty good in general. Didn’t try the drinks. Worth going!

Amazing food! Been there quite a few times and they never disappoint. Food is always spectacular, their service is fast and friendly and the ambience is great as well. Almost every item on their menu is really good so can't pick a favourite! It's also easily accessible by TTC which makes it a really convenient place to go to. My friends and I rate Papa Spicy as one of our top food spots in Chinatown and it looks like it's going to hold that spot for a long time!

Spicy food supposed to be very flavourful. But the most well known dish. The fish dish was not properly defrosted and was still frozen in the middle. We had enough fuel in our stove to cook it. But somewhat disappointedFood: 3/5

Been here 3 times and the food hits the spot every time. First two visits tried the specialty dishes and stir fry’s. On my last visit I tried the special fish hot pot, everything was good on all 3 visits. Def recommend!

I have been to this place twice when it soft opened a few years ago. The menu has changed slightly and currently they have a small patio open. Proper wok hay aroma, fast and friendly service and staff who likes chatting about the food. Going back for Hot Pot finally in a few days.

I don't understand why the rating is low! The spicy roasted fish is the very authentic and delicious! It is my favorite spicy roast fish in 300 miles radius! Very rarely have it so authentic in North America. Other dishes are also very authentic! I highly recommend this place. In fact, I live in upstate NY and I have been driving here only to dine in this places more than 5 times! The only drawback of this place is that they don't accept cards, so cash or Alipay/WechatPay.
