Travis Gaudet is a physical therapist who believes not only in rehabilitation but future injury prevention, empowering the patient with knowledge to continue to assist them on a road to functional and pain-free lifestyle.
Travis Gaudet graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. in 2013 as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB in 2011. Travis has been contracting work to Panther Sports Medicine since 2015 and enjoys treating all areas of rehabilitation, with a special interest in sport/spinal populations. Originally from Charlottetown, PEI., he is working towards his Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy having completed his Level 4 & Intermediate Examinations. Travis is certified in Acupuncture by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore. He is on Physiotherapy Alberta's restricted activity roster for spinal manipulation/dry needling. Travis also holds secondary certifications in Stretch to Win - Fascial Stretch Therapy ®, Neurological Proprioceptive Kinesio-Taping, and Custom Knee Bracing. A former athlete himself, Travis believes not only in rehabilitation but future injury prevention, by combining proper movement patterns, joint manipulations/mobilisations, Fascial Stretch Therapy®, neural container mobility, muscle endurance, needling techniques and ultimately empowering the patient with knowledge to continue to assist them on a road to functional and pain-free lifestyle.
