I ordered the pepperoni with mozzarella. It was the worst. 12 small slices of pepperoni and a little cheese, this was mostly all bread. I brought my concerns to, Ari, who quickly apologized and I asked if I could have something else and he was eager to make things right! I asked him what was a good choice and he responded with the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt. I just want to add that he went above an beyond to make things right! Outstanding customer service skills! Thank you, Ari, you ROCK!
This is my fave Penera Bread located in the valley, way out - Sullivan exit, next to the freeway but you can drive over short distance to the valley mall & Walmart; I wish there were more locations...I have to drive out to the valley just to visit here b/c the one on Division is so not my cup of tea. I hope that location improves there. It's so not Penera Bread to suck. I have been to many other Penera Breads in other states and for the most part they are very relaxing. Penera here does a perfect job on my plain bagel, which I enjoy double toasted w/cream cheese on the side. The coffee is always awesome, taste good, and it does the job. I rate Thomas Hammer first - Penera Bread second - Starbucks never again. Penera Bread has the raw sugar...options in creamers is a plus, for serious! The employees are so neat and polite. I really like coming here b/c there are times when I don't have to see clients so this is also one of my favorite pass times...it's comforting to visit a place, know that you spent good money and it be worth it during a time-out. This location is roomy. THE BAD: The tables are always dirty. I feel real foolish wiping my own table when I expect good service but the tables and clean seats don't seem to be included...sigh! Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here, there was this cute tiny girl here just now w/her daddy! Parking: Parking lot is paved, small but there is always parking, only two shade spots, which is something people from hot areas want. Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of disability parking spots! They are often empty until meal times.
I've eaten here a couple times over the years, good food and usually great portions. However, my most recent delivery order left me feeling like I didn't get as much as I paid for. The portions seemed much smaller, the containers were the same, but the bowls and plates were hardly filled. Cookie was stale. Overall I know they can do better. 2.5 stars.
I recently decided to try this place out. I've heard good things about their expensive meals that they claim to be fresh and healthy. I tried the squash soup and a cole slaw sandwich, I think. The soup is delicious! Very hot so I set it aside to eat at home. The sandwich was okay but the chicken chunks within in it tasted old. You know, the flavor sorta hits you after the second chew. It's just awful! My second trip was disappointing! No squash soup as it had already sold out by 3pm. So I ordered the apple crisp salad which also came with chicken chunks. I told the cashier I was weary of the chicken in this salad and explained my first experience. He apologized and assured me it was fresh. Well, it wasn't! You know I might go back for their squash soup but no chicken for me!
Panera never fails! This place is especially solid. Half eaten Soufflé, pecan pastry, and bacon and egg sandwich on ciabatta shown.
I am so unbelievably unhappy with my order! I just don’t understand how I am paying $14.47 for Just 1 chicken sandwich. Just original no cheese or bacon…. And 1 lg fountain water. The sandwich bun was cold! And the chicken was slid out of the bun my lettuce looked like it was on the sandwich for an hour! I don’t visit often but when I did I was generally satisfied, but I won’t be back! I cannot afford this kind of possible stomach upset, and waste of my very hard earned money!!!! I only give 2 stars due to the timely movement of the line, no receipt offered. But staff was friendly. They deserve the credit for that.
I liked the ordering process, where you can order at the counter or use one of the touch pads. I chose the touch pad so I could take my time deciding what to get. The pepperoni and mozzarella sandwich was very good.Food: 5/5
Don’t bother ordering the Teriyaki Chicken. The chicken was extremely low quality and was very fatty. For $12, I expected better. There was also barely enough food to fill half the bowl. Also, we ordered to-go and our order came like this. They basically just threw the bread in on top as an after thought. The bread was also hard and burnt. The only thing we ordered that was worth the money was the sandwich. Panera should just stick to sandwiches.
Experience was meh. The Mac n cheese has improved since last experiences but we got the side of baguette and it was super soft and chewy not like they usually are with the nice crust. Got their New Green Goddess sandwich. It looks really good but execution was not there. Wayyyy too much arugula and not enough tomato yet somehow way more tomato than cheese? The half sandwiches also seem to get more frivolous with fillings every time. Also they didn’t call out our name when our food was ready nor did our table buzzer go off?? so it sat there getting cold about 5-10mins before we got up to check on it. I have worked food service for a long time in my past so I understand at the root most these problems put the company to blame and not their underpaid and overworked employees. Get a grip babes.
For a $12 sandwich you could've tried a little harder with the lettuce guys!Food: 2/5
