I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is absolutely stellar the tomato soup was easily the best I’ve ever had in my life, the grilled cheese I got with it just as good with incredible cheese. The croissant bread pudding made me tear up, it made me feel things, and for price point?? $6 for a handcrafted dessert, $10 for the sandwich and soup, and one of the best meals I’ve had in years. My girlfriend had a salad with an outstanding house made feta ranch dressing that I’m still thinking about and I barely tasted it. Her French dip was just as good if not better than my sandwich. Friendly, personable staff with the chef coming out to ask us himself if we enjoyed our meals and smiling as I told him just how happy every bite made me. I will be coming back here often, if for no other reason than to try more of their menu and eat that bread pudding over and over again. If I could give more stars I would I often give 5 stars but these people deserve 7.
First time trying this place out! It had great looking food so of course I needed to know haha. We really enjoyed the meal! And the dessert was awesome! Food was flavorful and definitely hit the spot.Food: 5/5
Just happened to stumble across this place and we are in love. Not really the place for a kid but we brought our 7 year old with us who is normally super picky and she ate every last bite of her soup and sandwich. She has been asking to go back since. The staff are super friendly and definitely seem to really care about the place. My husband and I want to go back when we don't have kids and try all the beers and wine they have to offer!
If you haven't yet, check this place out! Locally owned, the only employees are the owners Jake & Clay. Service was reasonably fast considering how busy it was and how hard the 2 guys were working. Got the C.B.G.B and it might have been the best sandwich I've ever had. Bread pudding dessert was excellent. Huge beer selection. Definitely worth a stop in!
We went to Jake & Clay's after a recommendation from a local training opportunity and they did not disappoint! We all had beautifully presented food that was delicious! The service was great and none of us left a bite on our plates. I had a chicken alfredo dish made with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms and I would drive the hour to have it again some time; so good! I will say, one member in our party was sad there were no desserts as listed on their menu board but when we asked, the owner said "Mom wrote that" and I am not sure if that meant it had sentimental value and was not changed or what but I have seen other reviews mention their bread pudding being good so hopefully we can try that next time. Other mentionings, I drive a full size truck and was able to park but there were limited spaces due to neighboring businesses and of course, like most places these days, they are lined for sedans and smart cars. The pub is relatively small but they have made good use of what space they have. Service was friendly and the environment was chill. Parking: Limited spots and kind of tight though I was able to park a full size pick-up
Food was really good! Service was excellent. We loved the 1910 Black Lager Beer. My picture has a HALF order of a sandwich, side of pasta, and soup. The chef came out and personally checked on us. Will be back!
Stumbled into this place based on reviews and was blown away. Husband and I each had one of the best sandwiches either of us have had in years. Feta ranch was awesome; clearly homemade, same with the tomato soup. Good beer, good wine, great vibes. Owners came out and were extremely sweet. Will definitely be back next time we're in town. Check this place out!
Delicious food! Amazing, personable service. Want to meet Jake and Clay? Just walk through the doors. They’re there, everyday. Soups are savory and incredible. Don’t miss this hidden gem.
Can’t speak highly enough about this little hidden treasure in the Valley. Jake and Clay are so friendly and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. All the food is really tasty and they have a good selection of beers to choose from. Eating/drinking here is a great opportunity to support a good, local small business!Dietary restrictions accommodatedNot sure
Love this place! The beef sandwich melts in your mouth it’s so good. Made with sliced New York Steak, giardiniera relish, smoked gouda cheese sauce and au jus for dipping! . And check out the cool beer/wine selection! Great atmosphere also. Will definately be going back
