I was looking to get a quick bite and i stumbled upon this restaurant and that was the best decision I made today. The food was delicious I ordered Chicken Diavlo panini and it was spicy and awesome. I got the day special soup which was butternut squash soup. It was quick, fresh and filling. I would come here often.
Been here a few times and normally the food is good. However today the pasta was swimming in oil. I personally find the food needs salt and pepper however that’s my taste. The level of oil used today is why I’m writing this review based on this visit I wouldn’t go back.
Chef Stefano is the right one for the most demanding palates, he artfully combines the cuisine of the North-Eastern Italian territory Venice area adapting it to the North American one or cooking dishes exactly as they are offered in Italy using many of the ingredients directly from the boot. Expert cook also with regard to fish, coming from a family that currently runs a fish market in Italy. If what you are looking for is true Northern Italian cuisine, Stefano is number one ! Kid-friendliness: Freshly made, genuine food, good for everybody. Parking: Parking is just at the front door Dietary restrictions: The chef Stefano can cook all you need for your health in a perfect Northern Italian Style.
I was looking for a quick Italian bite and stumbled upon this restaurant which is close to my office location. 4/5 for the ambience and the food they served was extremely out of the world. The panini bread was so perfect and their pasta was very yummy. And the best part was the food was not that expensive. I felt we underpaid for the taste we got. Budget friendly and with lot of food options in vegan/ vegetarian and non-veg. Friendly staff and it is worth the money experience.
Our first time family visit for lunch. We were reached around 2pm so hardly any customers which worked out good for us since we could order food and it was served immediately. Dine in is open but one has to order first at the counter. Enough options in the menu including vegetarian, vegan dishes. The dishes we ordered were delicious so no doubt about tasty food but frankly the quantity was not enough to the price paid. This will be only suggestion to the team if they can increase the food quantity unless want to reduce price a little which may not be feasible with current market situation. The service was prompt, efficient with smiling face that makes one more happy along with yummy food. Overall all good experience and would suggest to try out.
Stumbled across this place and decided to try it. What a mistake. Here were the problems in order: 1. They were not friendly or welcoming. 2. Their prices are high - especially once you see the quality of the food and the portion size. $15 for a small bowl of pasta and a piece of focaccia is acceptable, if, and only if, the pasta and bread are good. Neither were. 3. Their ‘machine’ asks for a tip. For what? It’s take out. I really get disappointed and turned off when places do this. 4. The food. All of you who have read my reviews know my number one issue is this: is the food good? I will pay pretty much anything for good grub. I also can overlook a lot - bad service, atmosphere, etc. The pasta here for $15 bucks plus tax was horrible. I exaggerate not. The sauce was gluey and shameful. The bread was dry, cold, and worst of all, the guy working there had no gloves on and was touching his face, wiping his hand over his nose, and handling sandwiches and cheese. Unacceptable by any standard. Never again.
I’ve been here several times pre COVID and I thought it was good generally then. My last visit ~ not so much. The soup was just over half full and when I asked the staff about it she said it was “full”. Clearly it was not. Change your bowls then because that is just a bad look. I normally get the sandwich which seems to be something they do well but made the mistake of getting the pasta. It was a sticky sloppy sauce and over cooked penne. I just didn’t get a vibe of friendliness or appreciation. If you want great value in a pasta take out place with super nice people who are invested in the business check out “The Pasta Corner” at 438 Gibraltar dr Mississauga. You will experience old school customer service that is very rare to find anymore. They are a family run unit and I’ve been going there for many years. I see lots of repeat customers.
A hidden gem! Had a fantastic lunch today. Everything was outstanding. Friendly staff especially Cosmo! Owner was there and very friendly. Great panini, soups and salads.
Such a special place with special service! The staff are very friendly, fun and professional. The food is splendid with gourmet ingredients at a fair price. A lot of variety, flavour and making food fun! The first time I went to Pane e Vino, I then went back the next day :
Was in the area for a hockey tournament and we found this place nearby our hotel. Located in an industrial park area, this place is a hidden gem! Unbelievable paninis and hands down THE BEST soup I've ever had. Everything FRESH made to order and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A must eat place in my books!
