This place is a great place to share with family and friends. The information here about slaves and the some history about Springfield ma is very educational.
PAHMUSA is closed until further notice. In addition, Google My Business doesn't list PAHMUSA's hours correctly. Also, a sign on one of the museum windows stated it's scheduled reopen was 12/14. Sadly, upon arrival at the museum on 12/18, we discovered it was still closed. Reports from building employees are that the owner had to relocate and downsize all museum displays into a much smaller place. We need more spaces like this, especially in the state/region. I hope the owners get the support they need to reopen. I did manage to take a few photos of the exhibits that were visible from outside the various museum spaces. LOCATION: It's not visible from outside and given they've relocated, I hope better signage, inside and out, improves so we all find it. Parking is metered. Stay tuned for an update, post re-opening visit.
